My 9 year old is a big sports fan and he doesn't watch every fight but he watches some and he probably knows about 20 fighters or more and watches 24/7 every time it is on except for Floyd b/c of the language but I grew up watching boxing with my dad and we still talk boxing today and it is cool that my son likes to watch too. Anybody else out there have kids that watch boxing with them?
my son is 7 yrs old....he's been watching boxing with me since day one....took him to a few live events as well....my lil' dude know his stuff....he love to score the rounds, thats his thing :lol1:
took him to Cunningham-Hernandez II....after the final round he started crying, he felt USS had lost the fight before the scores were read....we were seated near Troy Ross and his trainer, they thought he was USS's son from the way he reacted lol.....dude asked me. "is that Steve's son?"....he said he saw him crying and I guess he was trying to put 1 and 1 together....right now, his fav fighter is and has always been USS, he likes Victor Ortiz alot, Danny Garcia alot, Derrick Chisora alot, Andre Ward alot....atm, he hates Tyson Fury with a passion :lol1:
he rocks with Bradley heavy as well!!
This is just awesome. Your son is a little badass. This story almost makes me want a kid.
My 9 year old little brother likes boxing but doesn't seem to care to watch it. I signed him up for boxing and took him for a couple weeks but I stopped as I didn't have time to keep on taking him. I tell him he can go back once he starts doing better in school.
You should tell him he can go back to school when he starts doing better in boxing. Hahaha, that's how champs are built.

One of the other pics I have she's on her stomach on my lap in front of the laptop with her head up just locked on the screen. It was a European fight I was watching but can't remember which one.

My girl's son is like 16 and he watches some of the events with us, mostly the bigger fights...the ones I will hype up a little. He is not a big fan of the sport but he likes watching: Martinez, Mayweather, Pac, Canelo, Rigondeaux, Rios, Golovkin, Marquez, Froch and Bradley. He doesn't care for Broner or Ward much, lol. He says Broner is a busted Mayweather wannabe and Ward doesn't deserve to have the #1 p4p position; he says that Floyd is P4P #1.

I don't have kids yet so this is a question for you dad's how the hell can you tell your months old baby likes boxing? Does he start shadow boxing at the tv when he sees it?
I can post a pic and you be the judge? Well, Idk if she knows or not be she's always into boxing and football more than anything else. Or it seems like it anyway.
