i didnt say theyre footwork is the all time best but i said even the ones that fight flatfooted like broner, bhop, ward etc bust out great foodwork when needed in certain situatiions and theyre shot placement is always presise and persistent :bottle:
I disagree, man. I think they're both great fighters but definitely not known for their footwork.
What do you guys think? I think prime Ali had the best footwork in history, the close second would be Pernell Whitaker. What's your opinion?
I love that sig . Rigod looking like he is in the matrix
floyd, rigo, gamboa, broner, spence, ward, gary russel, hopkins, bradley. These r the guys that bring a true meaning to float like a butterly and sting like a bee,Even the ones who fight flatfooted now still have precice shot placement and footwork
Broner and Bradley :lol1:

bradley has terrible footwork, he usually stumbles when he goes on the aggressive with a flurry, and he doesn't use his legs in his combo's, he just flails his arms
anyway, imo roy jones by quite a margin to start
the others that have notable footwork are ray leonard, pernell whitaker, hector camacho, rigondeaux
a guy with great potential is pacquiao, but he doesn't use it to it's fullest

i'll go so far as to say he has the best footwork of any athlete i've ever seen. after his layoff his legs were never quite the same.
muhammad ali in the mid 60's. easy.
this should be a thread about the second best footwork of all time.
Gotta agree with this, and in my lifetime I would say Sugar Ray Leonard would be next.
Don't lie... you know you wanna say Floyd not Leonard.

Sugar Ray Leonard
SRL had some good footwork, but when Floyd fought Ghost, I dont think I can ever remember a time when he was that lightfooted. It looked like when he fought Genero Hernandez, except a little more lightfooted. That 2nd and 3rd round was symbolic. When Ghost threw a shot, Floyd flew across the ring like a little baby. My friend said, "Man that little dude is fast" Basically skating. I think its out of him, and SRL when he fought the rematch with Duran.
