There will be some good young fighters on Fox Sports tomorrow night if anyone is interested. Errol Spence, Daquan Arnett, Jermall Charlo and Braulio Santos are all fighting. Spence is the best of the bunch but each guy has good skill and should be fairly succesful.
Thoughts? Who's your favorite?
Exactly. He should be mowing these guys down without any problems but I still like him. I'm hoping these early struggles build character and he learns from them. Wiggins hit him with a beautiful, hard counter. Arnett was badly hurt but he came back and stopped him in the next round. I choose to look at the glass half full. Terrell Gausha is another prospect who's struggled at times early on.
Pun intended? :lol1:

Jermell and Jermall need to get some nicknames cuz it's hard as hell to tell the apart
I saw pics before of them sparring. You just posted a video?

Awesome thread :boxing: Can't wait to the the Bronercutionator in the ring again.
Jermall Charlo is one to look out for too. he was getting good sparring from Lara not too long ago.
Yea Charlo twins can fight. Thanks for posting this vid. I like to see good sparring sessions.
Jamel Herring. My memory is sh1t...

Oh yea he is good. I haven't seen much of him though. He's fighting on the Broner-Paulie undercard. Doubt it will be televised though.

Are you talking about Rau'shee Warren? He's really good too.
Warren sucks, not Warren. Hold up, I'll get you his name.

I'm not gonna judge Arnett's chin just yet. If I remember right his last fight he was going back and forth with the guy and stayed up. With that said he shouldnt be having these mini wars this early in his career. He should be blowing these guys out of the water.

TBH I was more surprised Zewski was able to beat him, didn't know he had international experience. Spence has for sure gotten much better.
Another fun one I found today, for Thurman opponent Chaves, quite old:
2007 Pan American Games bronze medalist in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Defeated Taureano Johnson (Bahamas) 9-6
Lost to Demetrius Andrade (United States) 0-22
that must have been embarrassing.
andrade is big, fast, and coordinated. i can imagine he was a rough go in the amateurs.
if physical talent was all a fighter needed he'd be the goods. he's got a lot of learning and growing up to do before he can become a top pro. i also don't think he takes punches well. he's got a lightly boned face. his nose looked jacked up in his last fight, even though he didn't take a lot of punches.

50cent is a fuking retarded groupie,i had high expectations for yuri but this fuking ****** ruined it all yuri is done fellas, his career is of to obscurity and fights no ones.i will watch the fights tomorow but dam this lame ass fuk better not come out rapping yuri,im tired of seeing his ugly ass face lmao
Lol Gamboa fights next week bro. I doubt HBO let's 50 rap anyway. They're not crazy.
Hmm interesting. I just took a look at Banteaux on youtube . He's pretty good. Cubans are always excellent amateurs it seems (good pros as well). They know how to score points.

Yep, Mr Orlando seems to have a weak chin and thinks he's slicker than he is. He's young doe.
I really like the TX guys. Spence seems to have a very high ceiling possibly, though its very early on and he hasn't fought a live body.
OT I was just checking his record, and found a surprising fact about amateur Banteaux from Cuba:
2009 (as a welterweight)
Defeated Errol Spence (United States) 11-1
Lost to Mikael Zewski (Canada) 2-5

Glad I checked my guide because I purchased the sports package and I get those Fox channels. Initially thought there would be no boxing on TV this weekend.
This has been a really good year. It seems like there's a card almost every week. And Showtime extreme is good about showing older fights when they don't have anything lined up for the week. My DVR is always full smh.
