Bhop got 13,000 to pay to see him in his last fight
I know Pascal v Bute was supposed to be the "Biggest fight in Canadian history" but I don't know how many tickets it sold
Pascal's previous fight only got 6000
Also Bhop is a champ right now so that adds to his drawing ability
WTF? Pascal/Bute hasn't happened yet, the fight takes place next month lol. Pascal draws 18k or 19k on a regular basis in championship fights. His last fight was a tune up, but I guarantee you Hopkins/Murat will have an even smaller crowd.
I'd have thought Mathysse would be a bigger draw right now than Khan...at least to genuine boxing fans anyway.
Lol no way, only the true boxing fans even know of Mathysse, but guess what 90% of the viewers are not dedicated fans. Khan is a much better draw globally and more well known.
Mayweather
Pacquiao
Cotto
Canelo
Chavez JR
That is in the US. After that you got someone like Marquez, Martinez and Donaire who get good tv numbers but as far as putting butts in seats here those 5 guys are the top dogs.
Pascal is still the biggest draw at 175.
Chavez Jr is the biggest middleweight draw in the US but I think Martinez is the bigger star world wide.

About Martinez, I think JCC Jr could pull in massive crowds and TV ratings in Mexico just like Martinez does in the Argentina
The tie breaker is how they do outside their native countries
that list makes me kinda think that boxing sucks ass right now
yeah I know, not a good list at all to be honest but I do agree those are the biggest Draws in their Divisions
Who is the biggest draw in each weight class?
HW - Wladmir
200 - Huck
175 - Bhop
168 - Froch
160 - JCC Jr
154 - Ginger
147 - Mayweather
140 - Khan
135 - Burns
130 - Uchiyama
126 - Chris John
122 - Donaire
118 - Kameda

At the moment, I think an argument can be made that canelo and cotto are tied. Cotto's had the better numbers, but canelo is definitely gaining steam, and depending on his performance against Floyd, will probably pass cotto. Or if cotto and canelo meet up, the winner will get ahead of the loser of the fight.

It also makes it look very nationalistic on some classes. The biggest Draw you would think would be the best or most exciting fighter.
