Frampton leaves Eddie Hearn for Warren

Sound like Barry has tried to get far too involved and has achieved nothing but hurting his fighters future.

Feels like this move is all about Barry McGuigan. Frampton was only part of Matchroom on a fight by fight basis, there was nothing long term signed, I suspect it will be the same with Warren.

Hearn will have Scott Quigg in his stable very soon This would be good Such a bad move for Frampton, just going to be another Warren world titlist who fights nobodies and doesn't get any credit for the skill he posseses.

Frampton has massively fucked up here!! Sounds like him and Barry wanted more pennies They should atleast see if Frampton becomes a world wide success before attempting moves like this!! Big mistake!

Totally agree... I'm annoyed with McGuigan, purely selfish move there. As for Chisora opponant its being announced pretty soon.

We can safely rule out any big fights for Frampton now. He'll pick up a world title, sure; but he'll be fed cans.

Why didn't Golden boy or anyone like that try and get involved? No fighter that high up in the ranking should be joining Warren!!

Didn't realise its already official, from Matchroom's website Matchroom Sport and Eddie Hearn have issued the following statement regarding Carl Frampton and Manager Barry McGuigan. Eddie Hearn: “We have enjoyed our time working with Carl Frampton as promoter of his boxing career. However, after the success of the last Frampton fight we were informed by Barry McGuigan that he wanted to be joint promoter in future Frampton fights. “Whilst we had no problem whatsoever in agreeing purses for Carl Frampton, we felt that such a relationship with Barry McGuigan represented a potential conflict of interest with Barry’s role as Carl’s manager and we could therefore not agree to be involved on this basis. “Matchroom Sport and I wish Carl every success in his future boxing career.”

Strange move. He's probably better suited to Warren's stable, though. Less class etc. Also, any news on who Chisora is fighting? I've heard rumours Audley is being lined-up...
