Alot of Froch Myths still going round. Here ill post the facts.
1) "Froch was getting schooled by taylor until he got his lucky ko"
Hear this banded around alot. Froch was a draw on my score cards, he was a draw on the showtime going into the 12th(one had froch winning) and he was on a split decision in America(the same people use the dirrell "split decision" excuse for the robbery) so therefore it was obviously a robbery by that logic. Throw in the fact that froch had a 10-7 round for me on the 12th even without a ko and you have a winner on points. Also how the fcuk is it a lucky kncokout, froch literally beat Taylor to a pulp in round 12.
2) "Froch v dirrell was a robbery"
Again, froch won by 4 rounds on my score card. Dont believe me, well lets ignore the judges and replace it with the press row. Which had froch winning a unanimous decision. Dont believe me still then lets ask the Pundits and bloggers, from buncey, to dan rafael, to jimmy iowa, to allan green, to manny stewart all scoring it to froch. The punch stas on boxrec have froch winning.
Throw in the fact that dirrell face was a bloody mess, he held for 90 percent of the fight and illegally ducked with th back of his head exposed then he should have been disqualified.
3) "Froch got schooled by andre ward"
No he didnt he lost comprehensively, but no way was he schooled. Froch landed 100 more pounches than kessler in there recent fight, ward lannded 100 punches more than froch in there fights, yet the kessler fight was considered close???. Froch won the last 3 rounds v ward, and got his tactics and prep completely wrong. But no way did ward make froch look like an amateur. With froch has improved since that bout. And with Ward being inactive and inujured in his prime and froch fighting at home, this fight will be more competitive than the naysayers have you believe.
i never argued taylor was ahead, people are putting words in my mouth.
I simply said it was a myth that froch was getting schooled by taylor, which he wasnt, and it was a myth that it was a lucky punch, as it was one of the most one sided rounds ive ever seen.
But froch outlanded dirrell, they are the facts, hit and dont be hit. If froch outlands someone then he wins a fight. If hes busier and dominates the ring, how can you seriously score it to dirrell??Makes no logical sense.
As i say these myths seem tougher to bust than i first thought.
Are punch stats the be all and end all?
Do you think Mathebula beat Donaire? He outthrew and out landed him.
I'm not saying Dirrell was robbed.
But the fight was obviously close and at the very least could have gone either way.
Like I say a close fight but Froch looked pretty shopworn himself!
Most corners will tell the 'away' fighter to win the last round as its very common now days for the hometown fighter to win even if their slightly behind on points, very difficult for the opponent to get the nod in the champions back yard
Don't let things like bias commentry and compubox fool you, Froch has a great work rate and output but if he landed more the certainly wern't clean and more likely elbow shots
You say the whole boxing world but I would guess 80% of non biased boxing fans would have Taylor winning the fight ahead of the knockout too
Yes Froch came on strong but winning round 7 onwards does not win you the fight, good job he got the Ko or that was a loss for sure
I don't know what fight you were watching man! ;)
facts are the stas showed froch landed more, and dirrells face was bloodied more as froch was unmarked.
Dirrells best round was round 11 were he rightfully got docked a point for all his holding and illegal ducking, so his best round was a draw, and he himself admitted he lost the 12th, a round where his corner said he needed a kncokout to win.
As for Taylor analysis, the boxing world disagrees with you, froch pretty much won from roundds 7 onwadrds and landed 39 power shots in round 12 alone.
Stop making things up.

Joshua Clottey outlanded Cotto but lost the fight. There goes that logic huh.
I thought Taylor was winning the fight but it doesn't matter if he won every second of every round, Froch knocked him out. It's irrelevant.
"Lucky KO's" is one of the most ridiculous things I hear.
Froch punched him, repeatedly, in the face, leaving him a bloody mess in which the fight had to be stopped. On which Planet is that lucky in a BOXING match?
Dirrell I thought beat Froch. But he lost the fight for himself, if he fought like he did in the last few rounds he could have won the fight and would have won but mentally, I don't think he has it.

I like Froch a lot, hes grown on me, I feel hes a unique fighter and his ability is very much underrated.
What he does doesn't always look good but its very difficult to stop and is often very effective.
That being said though I am going to have to disagree with your comments
1- I give credit to Froch for pulling out that KO out the bag and getting off the canvas aswell but Jermain Taylor was very much ahead buy a few rounds in that fight, Froch was chasing him round the ring and missing alot in that fight
2- Not necessarily a robbery but I did have Dirrel up by 2 rounds. He may have started a bit dodgy falling on floor ect, but was a dirty fight between them both and towards the latter rounds he was relentlessly tagging froch and it actually looked on Frochs face like he was very worried before the decision was made, that was a home town decision and froch got lucky that night imo, the setanta pundits scored it for Dirrel that night too, well apart from Bunce but you know what he is like lol
3- Sorry but Ward did school Froch, Froch followed him around all night and Ward was just way too slick constantly slipping frochs punches and tagging his beak, virtually a complete shutout not even close.
Now this is just being honest, doesn't take anything away from the fact that Froch is quality and is probably our best fighter at the moment

I agree about the Taylor fight. It was close, and even if Taylor lasted Froch had an argument for winning.
I think Dirrell clearly won, but he fought an awful fight. I can see now how other people would penalize him for spoiling like he did.
Ward did school Froch. That fight wasn't remotely close.
Froch is in my top 5 favorite active fighters but Dirrel won on my scorecards, it was super close though and no way it was a robbery.
Froch did better than all of Ward's other opponents but I personally think Ward would likely beat him again in a rematch.
The same people who try to dispute your arguments OP are the same one who dont acknowledge Mayweather lost to castillo 1, Broner lost to Ponce and Qunitero, etc etc.
There's no reasoning with them, they are not true fans of the sport.
(1) Agreed. Taylor definitely didn't school him, his speed got to him early but Froch took over at the half-way point of the bout.
(2) Agreed. Even if you think Dirrell won, it was still a close fight, not a robbery.
(3) Not sure about this one. Ward put on a clinic tbh, the fight wasn't close but what Ward didn't do was hurt Froch or beat him up.
