I mean, can like anyone swing by and check him out or say what's up? Do they let the public in? If so, how can you go about it? And I'm not talking about a big time gym or fighter either (ie Mayweather).
If they are in training camp you won't be able to talk to them. But just on an average day at the gym and they are running the treadmill or something of course you would be able to talk to them
This is what I was thinking.

I suppose it depends on how often they frequent that gym and if it's the only gym they go to. You might be able to find someone like B-Hop if they're hanging around a Philly public gym though.
EDIT: (that was kinda obvious thing though..)
I lived in Las Vegas for 6 years and I frequented Top Rank, Johnny Tocco's Gym, Richard Steele's Gym, and Las Vegas Boxing (Jeff Mayweather's Gym). I also used to do my regular workouts at Las Vegas Athletic Club. Visiting these places I'd always see champions, top ranking, and up and coming fighters all the time. Just living in Las Vegas I'd run into fighters in different places.

Just go walk up to a gym and tell the person in charge (if they ask) that you just want to sit and watch, they will all allow it. Basically you can go an watch known fighters training all the times. I'm talking names like Peter Quillin, Abner Mares, De Leon, Brando Rios, Maidana, Martinez etc.
Its easier than you think.
To be more clear, I'm going to Florida next month and I just wanted to see if I could check Rigo out in the gym. And I know when he spars its easy work so idk if they would really he that strict about it. :lol1:

well in that regard it was a serious question because obviously you cant see them work but there are places where you can see a ton of top fighters going in & out and they will speak to you on the outside.
I did get to see Pascal spar in Vegas but that place was like Fort Knox. You werent getting in there without a hookup but they had cameras there too since it was so close to the fight so maybe it would be different on a normal day. Roy was there too. Pascal looked ready so I know he was upset that the fight got postponed
Well I know when it comes to sparring it gets a bit more stricter.

It depends how famous they are. I'm sure you could see world champs who dont have big names working out at their gym like a regular dude. Some work out privately though in gyms that are really only used by pro fighters a certain trainer really focuses on. I'm sure some guys hit up their gym in between fights and just train light/maintain and thats probably the most common way to see them I'd think.
Almost impossible if its James toney. More likely to find him in the golden coral.

But like, would they let me in? Dont they sometimes when a fighter is in the gym close it to the public?
