that's proof? show me where Morales or his team actually said it. not an HBO clip of them trying to hype up their fighter.

only thing more shameful is hamed's utterly pretentious, over the top, nauseating muslim ring entrance. so glad MAB embarrassed that UK hype job.
glad he's not in the HOF.
No, nothing Hamed ever did as a professional was as shameful as putting a complete and utter mismatch like Barrera-Kelley on PPV. It's debatable if Hamed even stooped to that level in his personal life. The modern day equivalent of that would be something like Andre Ward-Jermain Taylor on HBO PPV.
And :lol1: @ you're "glad he's not in the HOF" - as if that or that organization actually meant something.
Hamed has no genuine standout victory, just a list of genuine and proven world rated fighters on his resume. Kelley is one of those, and Hamed claimed victory over him at a time when Kelley was actually a top featherweight. He didn't fight a shot version like Morales or Barrera (the latter being on PPV, no less :lol1:) shamefully did.

Hamed's best win was a life and death 4-round battle with a past-prime Kevin Kelly.
Hamed was the type of fighter who would overwhelm his opponents with speed, footwork, and wide-swings.
If history has taught us anything, it's that Morales has the picture perfect style and mental fortitude, much like Barrera, to nullify stylistic fighters like Hamed.
Morales is one of those very accurate combination punchers (doesn't get enough credit for this) who tends to burst your bubble, ruin your thunder, right as you're seemingly overwhelming him.
Hamed has shown he is very hittable, especially when he starts getting flashy. He's full of fundamental mistakes that Mexican fighters see all too well and are always ready to expose.
I have Morales by TKO mid-rounds as soon as he adjusts.
what's his best win? past prime kevin kelley?

JMM was Hamed's mandatory for 2 years
So was István Kovács. :lol1:
It is, however, an undeniable fact that Marquez turned down a career high purse to fight Hamed in the summer of 2000. This information is out there for anybody who's uninformed and ignorant of this subject.
Morales who turned down a career high pay day along with JMM and Tapia to fight Hamed?
JMM was Hamed's mandatory for 2 years and Hamed ducked him like the plague.
Not sure this comes down to levels because both were top fighters. I think it comes down more to styles making fights.
What seperated Barrera and Morales in their 1st fight was the better defensive work from Barrera. If Marco had attacked Nas gun ho and walked onto power shot after power shot that fight may have turned out differently, he did have to take afew but for the most part his defence was excellent in that fight. Morales on the other hand was more of a face first fighter who didnt really keep his hands up as much as he could. That would prove fatal vs Hamed.
Its a fight I can see both winning but even though Id rank Morales higher historically, stylewise I think he plays into Hameds hands. Erik I doubt could stick to a disciplined strategy for 12 rounds without the urge to fight and I dont think he defence would be good enough to avoid all the power shots he walks onto. Hamed would have a hard night but the clean shots he lands would start to take their toll around the 9th. He'd get marked up and probably lose a close points decision.
hamed on his day could have beat any featherwight morales is a legend but we all know he turned the fight down.Hamed did not fullfill his potential what a shame he was good but could have been great, come on we all know the hamed that fought barrera wasnt the same as before but thats not barreras fault he did good and solved the puzzle.
And the racist guy can you please not come on this forum again you f*in pr*k
If Morales' chin was any less solid than it was, Hamed could stop him.
But in reality his chin was made of Barreras childhood nightmares and just, very hard things.
Like Hamed, he was a massive puncher in his hey-day. Much harder to knock down though. I think if Morales doesnt stop him he at least drops him enough to score a wide decision which would have otherwise been a close one on the cards.

Hamed Is a Pak1 Bum
the word pak1 is a racial slur used to describe anyone who looks of south Asian / Arab descent. It is not a shorthand for someone who is from pakistan.... its the same as using the n word for a black person no matter where they are from or s***k for someone of latino origin
I thought we were done with racism on nsb?
