Did that Tyson article piss anybody else off? Obviously I am talking about those people that don't follow MMA like me but they love to talk ***** about boxing and boxing dying every chance they get. That's why I can never like it. Also I have no interest in seeing a heavyweight do a spinning kick. Also do they never do road work or what? Every MMA fight I have ever watched both guys are gassed by the 2nd round and it looks like a street fight where both guys are dead tired. We also have 2 MMA guys that come into our gym and spar and they just bull rush constantly and they talk ***** about boxing too and they are in a boxing gym. If you are going to write a crap article like that at least have facts to back it up. MMA writers suck.
You're one of those faggots from the underground? Dude, just stop. You seeming to be an avid poster there says everything.
Just when I was talking about the haters poof you apear:blow:
Hey Warquez guest what?

Boxing fans are among the worst fans of anything ever so to complain about MMA fans is kinda like the pot calling the kettle black

Hit the nail on the head. Both sports have their negatives. In MMA if the fans want a fight to be made, 99% of the time it will happen.
The amount of new school tapout MMA (UFC in particular) fans are retarded. The rednecks are ridiculous too. They boo every time the fight goes to the ground which makes me wonder why they don't go to a Boxing/Kickboxing fight. American fans in general are pretty terrible, you don't see the type of Froch-Kessler type of crowds at American events ever, unless there are Mexicans or Filipino fighters involved.
Most of the MMA Media have to suck up to Dana White as well, look at Karyn Bryant, biggest ass kisser in MMA journalism but she gets regular spots on fueltv and is able to get great access. Anytime someone says something against Dana, he goes ape **** at them and takes personal shots.
Luke Thomas (prominent MMA journalist) often calls them out on their practices/stances (check out the mmafighting youtube channel for his regular webchats), he stated that himself that Boxing is very much on the up and is at the best spot it has been in for years and MMA is not on the high it was back in 2009/2010.
I love MMA but for me nothing beats a Boxing match for me. MMA fighters for the most part, just seem to have AWFUL gas tanks. This is why I love fighters like Cain, Edgar..they push the pace and create action. KJ Noons fought last weekend, his boxing is meant to be great but the guy looked winded after 2/3 minutes in the first round and his Boxing got real sloppy.
I could go on and on...

I think it's all the floor-hugging that makes it impossible for people to like MMA.
Pretty much. The intricacies of the wrestling moves are lost on me anyway.
lol at the insecure boxing fans mad cuz mma had another great event an Iron Mike loves mma.:dead1:

Let's be ****ing real for a second. MMA ****ing crushes boxing in the way of how well it is ran. Look at it, there is one major MMA organization and NO one else is even close. You don't see relentless ducking, paper champions, and there are far fewer controversial decisions. The PPV events are well ran, and there aren't bogus "promotional wars". Pacquiao vs. Mayweather? Everyone knows that if the UFC was dealing with that ****, it would have got made.
Don't be so sure of that. Super fights that everyone had been asking for throughout the years never got made. Like right now everyone wants to see Jones vs Silva, last year the fight was suppose to happen. No go. This year the fight is suppose to happen Dana even said it would, guess what? Jon Jones is set to fight Alexander Gustafsson at the end of the year and Anderson Silva has a fight set for July.
UFC is very good at conning the public unlike boxing. Boxing leaves every single detail out there for the public to see. While the UFC keeps it behind close doors.

The list goes on and on and on... the reality is that boxing is an AWESOME sport, ran by the biggest egos of all time. Literally, the only reason boxing is still functioning is because it is awesome. Considering the DISGUSTING sanctioning bodies, cherry-picking, and egotistical promoters, boxing is lucky to still be around. There has to be a turning point, or the statement "boxing is dying" will start to become very true. To talk **** on MMA for any "outside" reason is to take an even bigger dump all over boxing, because right now, MMA is destroying boxing in terms of how smooth everything is ran.
Side note: The only people who aren't fans of MMA are simply pissed that MMA may have taken some steam away from boxing. This isn't true because boxers are still making just as much (and more) as they always have. Spew your trash-talk in a more adequate direction - towards the sanctioning bodies and promoters, with hopes that one day they will be completely disassociated with boxing.
Lets be real for a second, your the dumbest motherfucker on this forum.
There is one MMA Organazation? if so what is that UFC surely isnt it, UFC is the Equvilent to Top Rank or Golden Boy and all UFC does is have in house fights that why his fighters only make about 15 percent of what boxers make.
Wait to UFC have other brand that can match them popularity wise and money wise and they will have the same ego problems boxing will have.
and boxing fans dont like mma cause they rival boxing and we on some jelly bicth **** is the stupidist **** ever, lol. MMA is unappealing there is no quailty that will shine through in mma, its either you get got or dont.
and ill just quote my early post to drive the point home.
MMA is a joke, I tuned in last night just cause kessler/froch was on so damn early was nothing else on.
when cain landed the 1,2 rogans said that a beautiful left right, cain is so techinically sound in striker I was like wtf.
are you saying cain is technically sound in boxing and that the reason he is the ufc heavyweight champ? and thats the reason he beats everyone? (and cain boxing sucks)
Its hard to explain the sport of MMA is just so damn unappealing to me cause you rob the oppenents of the chance to show heart, to show grit.
If Bradley vs Ruslan was a mma fight is would have been over in round 1 lol, we would never seen bradley resolve, his heart and him just biting down and fighting back. if bradley vs ruslan was a mma fight it would have been pretty boring, ruslan catched bradley jumps on him and pounds away for a easy win, now that same match in boxing and that fight was hella entertaining and ruslan lost and took a solid beating, both guys did.
to me it will aways be Boxing>any other sport>Thorwing the trash>taking dumps and then realizing there is no toilet paper>MMA

the sport has plateaued. they have no real mainstream stars and dont have a very strong minor league system that continually/consistently pump fresh talent in the sport like college football does for the nfl or the amateur/olympic route like boxing does.

Man don't ever on youtube video about Silva or Jones when ever Jon Jones or Anderson Silva wins. Some of the worst fans I have ever seen in a sport. People must really hate it when they win that they would go that far.
yeah it does bother me a bit cause it seems like they only look at guys like mayweather and pacquiao and generalize the sport based on their fights (his mosley and bradley fights were pretty lackluster) . i'm sure most of the people who say "boxing is dying" haven't watched fights like rios/alvarado II or bradley/provodnikov this year. it is what it is though, it's just casual fans that don't necessarily understand or watch the sport (only the big fights). as for mma, i'm a fan of it, but as of late i only tune in if there's a fight or fighter i'm interested in that i know will make for a good fight.
Anyone who says boxing is dying isn't watching enough or know enough boxing.
No offense to anyone lol
I think the whole idea of two grown, half naked men molesting one another is kind of the biggest turn off.
That's closex minded bro. You always make solid quotes. Mma is a legite combat sport. Its in our beloved sports genre. You don't gotta like it but respect it.
the pacquiao/marquez 4 undercard was a snoozer. did he at least watch mares/de leon on mayweather's last undercard? i hate people who watch pacquiao and mayweather fights but only tune into the main event. and as a maidana fan, you HAVE to get him to watch maidana/lopez. that is a can't miss fight. and :lol1: at that last paragraph. yeah, that's when you know guys don't understand the sport of boxing.
tyson is a media puppet now a days. he'll say anything to keep the money flowing.
nope he didnt watch mares/de leon he was there but talked kept leaving the room, didnt pay any attention when i told him too. Actually the whole undercard was pretty good except the decision of rosado/love fight yet he didnt watch any.
Maidana lopez will be sick yet so many of these people saying boxing is dying wont see it and wont appreciate great wars like that one will be
TS feels the exact same way I do.... can't stand MMA and its because of the fans and that clown joke ass dana white. I got this one f**got ass buddy saying boxing is dying all the time but he only comes over to watch pacquiao and mayweather. Every time I invite him over for Rios, matthysse, maidana, bradley/provodnikov fights, paul williams a few years bacl, kirkland/anguluo and these types of fights he doesn't come. Then he says every fight he watches is boring and a mismatch.
Him and many other mma fans hate on mayweather.... yet they love GSP hahah its funny, hes the good guy mayweather of UFC. I rememver multiple mma fans telling me GSP/koschuk was an epic fight even though it was completely one sided and GSP took a boxing approach but instead of throwing combos he only threw a jab... yet they think boxing is boring. These guys are ****ing clowns.

Tyson is sort of a sellout saying that. It's because Dana gives him such special treatment, saying he has a "Bieber effect" on his fighters. Tyson saying MMA fighters have more passion is a huge insult to the sport that made him who he was. We've had so many great fights the last 3 years alone. Wars. GSP fights are hump fests.
