I don't think Ward gets stopped but he loses, some people make Ward out to be absolutely awful. Roy Jones did stop Toney, Gonzalez, Telesco or Johnson. Outside of Toney Ward has a better defense than those fighters.
He might lose fairly wide but I struggle to see Ward getting stopped, very tricky Hopkins like fighter.
Ward has enough sheer athleticism to keep up with the absolute freak athleticism of RJJ. I think Ward's patience and form might get him a decision in a very rare RJJ fantasy loss.
Roy in a one sided beating. May take Roy 4-5 rounds to figure him out and really start getting to him. But he would end up stopping Andre if Andre was game. Prime Roy is unbeatable. Probably the only unbeatable fighter.
You can't compete with natural gifts and Jones had those in abundance. Jones was unreal in his ability to not only react but attack with speed and power. But like Rome all things fall and reflexes fail and so went Roy Jones.....
Anything can happen in boxing, but if your talking fantasy matchups, A prime Roy Jones Jr never loses

Jones reflexes, speed, angles, power at 168 were ridiculously amazing. There is no way in hell Ward beats that liquid lightning that he was in his prime. Two entirely different levels. At 168, there is no man that beats him, including Calzaghee.
I've seen a million of these threads and rather than go with the flock, I'll just be honest and go with my gut. Ward wouldn't stand in front of him, waiting to get teed off on. I think Ward is intelligent enough to spoil Roy's game and out point him in a dirty clinch-fest. An ugly win, but a win for Ward. That said, it could easily go to Jones too, especially since Andre isn't very light on his feet, something that gives Roy a big advantage.
