1) Ali with his jab, speed of hand and foot, would outmanuver wlad and land the cleaner shots.
2) Louis would struggle to get past the jab but once he figured out wlad he would land sharp lefts and rights....he would be rounds behind score a kd or two but would lose by close decision. In a rematch Louis starches wlad by round 5 who always improved in rematches
3) Holmes could match his Jab take his best shot and rough him up on the inside in the clinches to the body and uppercuts....would be close early but Holmes activity and inside game would wear wlad down and stop him late or Holmes earns a ud
4) Foreman of the 70s didn't have the smarts to beat wlad of his past few years form and 90s big George wasn't active enough....he would control George with the jab and subtle movement and clinch when he got too close suffers a Kd along the way from a clubbing over hand right but survives to win a UD...older George would trouble him more with a better Jab and smarts but his activity level would cause him to lose a close fight
5) Frazier slow start would have him in an uphill battle with wlads jab and right hand he behind to bust Frazier up in the middle rounds, his heart carrys him through only to be stop
on cuts.
Wladimir would do well against all of the past greats. Wlad is fast, has great footwork, excellent technique, very hard punches, and his chin is underrated. Plus he's a huge, yet very athletic boxer. All of the past greats would be in real trouble vs Wlad. IMO only Ali, Lewis and Tyson beats him.
Really? Fast, excellent tech., athletic? The only thing you got right is he is huge.
I think all of the greats with a reasonable inside game beat him and I think most people realise that.
Inside fighting is a skillset that is in short supply in the higher weights. I think Lewis, Holmes, Foreman, Frazier, Holyfield, Tyson etc. win.
Louis would have problems because his shortfall is his slow feet, not too sure about Dempsey, Marciano despite having great inside games they are undersized and one shot could catch them out. Though I still think if they get inside they give problems to Wlad, though I'd favour Wlad to win.
Ali - Wlad Losses by UD
Louis - Wlad by TKO (almost 30lbs weight difference)
Lewis - Wlad gets starched in 4
Tyson - If he can last 5 he wins by UD but prime Tyson would most likely starch him.
Holmes - Pick em fight.
Foreman - Foreman KO in 8
Frazier - Wlad late stoppage.
Dempsey - Wlad by stoppage.
I watched the Holyfield/Bowe 2 and 3 fights the other night and I think both of them beat the Klits. I also think Lennox, prime Tyson, Holmes, prime Ali, Foreman, etc beat the Klits. Klits might have won a few of those fights, but that would be it. I also think the Klits are juiced.
he loses to everybody except jeffries, dempsey and marciano.
he's not really a true legitimate bona fide great fighter. only great and a hall of famer by default due to an utterly horrible heavyweight era which he still fond a way to lose to mediocre fighters.
crap chin, crap stamina, crap stiff athleticism, devoid of fast twitch muscle fibers, and devoid of combination punching and excitement.
The only fighter I see as a clear favorite against Wlad is prime Ali.
After him I would give the best chance to prime Tyson (due to his style).
Lennox is 50:50 for me.
He would have a good chance of beating the others IMO.
Try to understand this ok...........Wlad was stopped by guys who couldn't break an egg compared to Joe Louis! You keep saying Wlad does this Wlad does that but what does Wlad do when he gets hit with left hooks to the body and short right hands to the head by Joe Louis? Do you think Joe can't slip inside Wlads jab? Whjats going to happen when Joe Louis is close? Does Wlad know how to fight inside? No! Does he know how to hold? No! What does he do with a fighter that has power in both hands?
Fellows wipe the Wlad Brown off your noses and try to evaluate skills instead of being fan-boys!
Szef99 1/2 you talk **** from your monitor but in person you'd wouldn't say a damn thing you little punk azz *****! :killyou: HA!! Ray
Try to understand this, Joe Louis was just TOO SMALL, he wouldn't get past the jab, you keep bringing Wlad loses but you have to remember that was almost 10 years ago, Klitschko is completely diffrent fighter right now, Joe is all time great but today he would've been a CW, sorry but Wlad's size advantage and power would be too much for much smaller Joe. Wlad would do what he always does, jab-right hand-clinch. Is it pretty? No. Is it effective? Yes.
Oh, and FU too:fing26:
Generally speaking.. A good big man beats a small good man.
Wlad's punch resistance would always be in question..
He has underrated foot work both in stalking and retreating. His jab is as snappy as some boxer's rear cross. He is predictable and yet so many fighters cannot seem to take advantage of it.
Holmes, Lewis and Ali have/had the size and skill to give Wlad fits, if not outright beat him.. But in no instance would their wins be guaranteed..
Wlad could conceivably beat them as well.
The rest, with the exception of maybe Johnson, would not have the required mix of size and skill to get to Wlad and would spend most of the night eating jabs and crosses and getting KO'd or losing wide on points.
Of course we are talking Wlad.. Whoever he is fighting ALWAYS has the puncher's chance.
Spot on

Is there a new guy named Wlad? Because the old one is NOT a top ten heavy and to think that the "robot" could stop Ali is laughable! Honestly some of you fan nuts are insane!! You wouldn't know proper technique if it punched you in the mouth! Ray.
who said he beats Ali? Look closer he is saying he loses to Ali smh

By my count that's 10 wins and 5 loses against the best heavyweights ever....not bad for a boring champ in a weak era....outside of the 60s and 70s and the teens when Dempsey and Johnson was champ and guys like Jeanette, langforde, mcvea, and wills, heavyweight doesn't have many deep eras
6)Dempsey would have success in the early rounds scoring two kds off left hooks...wlad shows his mettle and behind to land jabs and rights and occasional left hooks....else isn't Willard or firpo who didn't have much in the skills dept. Else would clinch on the inside when Dempsey wades in missing a left hook wlad lands a counter left Dempsey can't see for a shock ko...shock because people forget Dempsey could be hurt was stopped by a smaller man and could be outboxed
7) evander holyfield is all wrong for wlad...speed, activity, chin, wlad would have some success with the jab but vander would stop wlad in the mid rounds
8) jack Johnson would be troubled by the size speed and skill would have little chance to land his timely counters and uppercuts, waiting too long and losing a UD because Wlad was more active landed better shots
9) Tyson early barrage blitzes klitschko by 3 round tko...else gas no chance to get to get his legs under him
10) Lewis would jab with him and get the advantage inside by late stoppage
Liston gets beat Ud, Patterson stopped, marciano gets stopped,, as does Jim jeffries and charles
