I think that Naseem Hamed stops Broner

To think an overrated 126 lbs fighter that Barrera dominated beats Broner is asinine. You've spent a large portion of this thread pissing and moaning because another poster made his pick and justified it by pointing out the obvious in stating that he was a better fighter than a fighter who beat Broner, and yet you've just cited Barrera - a fighter who is leagues above Broner and bears absolutely no stylistic comparison to Broner - beating Hamed as the reason why such an opinion is "asinine." You're too much of a dolt to see the irony in such a post. :lol1:

Hamed would have sparked Broner out, he was way to slick and very heavy handed, he didn't even have to load his shots up to knock you out Don't let the Barrera fool you, that was Hamed not in his prime anymore and if you break down the fight it was still very close. Broner is easy to hit and Hamed would have taken advantage of it Hameds chin was granite and the only time he hit the canvas was due to loss of balance, he would get up instantly

Haven't read the thread but Hamed never fought over 126 and Broner started at Super Feather. Broner at his lightest is very green and Hamed at 126 was his prime weight. Not really a good comparison.

Lots of people seem to think that Broner would beat Hamed but I just don't se it. Hamed has better movement, the better jab, he is just as fast and has way better power. Neither has the GREAT defense, but Broner's defense may be better. I think Nas will touch Adrien and close the show inside of 5. Broner likes to stalk his opponents, you die off you do that against Naz. Wasn't Hammed a featherweight? How old was Broner when he was in that division? Around the time he fought De Leon? Still very young? Doesn't sound like a fair matchup to me.

I think Broner would KO Hamed. Broner is a big lightweight so he has a size and weight advantage. Broner is fast and accurate with his very hard punches. Hamed was a very hard puncher but Broner is the bigger man and seems to take a punch well. Hamed could be careless with his leaping in attacks. I think it's more likely Broner catches Hamed with KO punches than the other way around.

Hamed was 122-126lbs. VALERO wouldve put broner to sleep in 4 rds

Broner has more hand speed and power than naseem had ever seen in his short lustrious career. Broner has his weakness and it's his defensive skills and they are really bad, but nothing that one of mayweather brothers couldn't fix speaking of roger or floyd senior. look at the barrera fight prince naseem got the snot beat out of him. he was humiliated. Let me try to explain what the other guy is saying. A triangle theory only works if the guys have a common opponent. Judah fought both Kahn and Lucas. He lost to Kahn but beat Lucas. So based on that, if you say Kahn would beat Lucas because of his lost to Judah, it's a triangle theory. Since Naseem fought neiter Broner or De Leon, it can't be considered an triangle theory.
