Yeah it was really a great fight, just when I thought Kessler was wilting he came back with massive shots, I thought he had Froch when he landed that counter right hand and turned his legs to jelly but he couldn't follow up. Exciting fight. simple as only european/mexican and argentian fighters bring that intesity americans are useless in that sense Rios and Alvarado are american. :lol1: Lol please don't compare a sub 8k crowd with God knows how many comped tickets in "Brooklyn" compared to a 70k+ sold out crowd in Europe. And I'm American. More like 20k. was a good fight..i think what made it even that much better was the atmosphere from the crowd. i wouldn't say it's the absolute fight of the year..bradley vs provodnikov still has my vote. I still think Lebedev Jones is the FOTY. I didn't see Lebedev vs Jones, but for me this was better than Bradley vs Provodnikov and Rios vs Alvarado. Stop what you're doing and go watch that **** right now!

Fantastic fight. Thought it would be a walkover for Froch beforehand, surprised at how good Kessler still is after all these years. Amazing chins from both of them too, lesser men would've quit after 5 rounds! There's no-one out there who could make Ward as much money as Froch right now, he's on a roll. (Still think Ward has too much for him though). Would like a 3rd fight but can't see it happening. Anywhere outside of the UK and Denmark wouldn't work in my mind, not electric enough.

Not even close, entertaining fight but that's it. Jones-Lebedev, Bradley - Prov, Rios - Alvarado were much better than this fight. Still really good fight though I didn't see Lebedev vs Jones, but for me this was better than Bradley vs Provodnikov and Rios vs Alvarado. Bradley vs Provo had some really good rounds, but some of them were very slow. The same with Rios vs Alvarado. This fight was intense the whole time, for me that makes it the fight of the year so far.
