I can literally think of no one for Floyd if he doesn't fight Canelo? I know he is not well known yet and hasn't been a headliner yet but if he gets by his next fight, I would lot rather see Floyd vs Thurman than Floyd vs Alexander.
I've thought about this fight before. I think the power and youth would give Floyd problems and edge out a victory for thurman
Dude I'm a Thurman homer, and I wouldn't give him that chance until 3-5 more fights. Might not be enough for him.
Not yet. Let Thurman get past Chaves first. Winner faces loser of Paulie/Broner. Thurman's been calling Paulie out for quite some time now. If he beats Paulie, then Alexander or Khan. Winner gets Floyd.
let Thurman continue to work his way up, Chaves will be a good test for him and the winner of that fight should get the winner of Broner vs Paulie
Thurman could also move up to 154 and be a legit contender in that Division as well because he is a HUGE Welterweight
But no a Thurman vs Mayweather fight is not marketable the moment, he needs a few big wins at 147
He's definitely not ready. The kid would get chopped up mercilessly. Canelo fight should be next. There is literally no one else worthy that isn't already tied up in a fight.
I've read somewhere that negotiations with Khan are underway. I hope the rumor is false though because he isn't a worthy adversary at the moment.
No. Hell no. The guy hasn't fought anybody of note to deserve a shot, not to mention that he has an even smaller following than Alexander. I still think the Canelo fights happens next.
