Literally or figuratively.
Jermaine Taylor against Kelly Pavlik. that ko loss pretty much ended his career as a marquee guy.
Pavlik/Hopkins. Kelly was never the same after that ass whoopin
Do some of you even know what gatekeeper means? You can say Margs took something outta Cotto but ended his career? That's F'n absurd. Cotto whooped his ass the second go around.
Anyway....Meldrick Taylor post Chavez Sr. Never the same. That was an actual career ender.
Top two that I can recall are as you mentioned Taylor vs Chavez and Trinidad vs Reid.
You guys are picking fights where it was just literally their last lost and thus "they retired" or fights that were the career-ended fighter was on a complete downside anyway.
Pacquiao and Oscar? Oscar was a complete shell of his former self and just had a lackluster win over Forbes. Nothing like the late 90's Oscar.
Mosley v Canelo? At that point Mosley hadn't won a fight in years. Already gone. Maybe it was the final nail in the coffin but the ditch was already dug for the grave.
People even said Ishida v Golovkin??!?! Yes, because Ishida was some dominating force until Triple G. lol. Yeah right.
When people say fights that ended careers that's when a fighter is close to his prime and got beaten so badly or ko'd that they weren't the same after...
think Davey Moore after the Duran fight...
or Courtney Burton after the Julio Diaz fight.
Lacy v Calzaghe is another no-brainer.
They clearly weren't the same fighters they were after that one fight.
danny garcia ended khan's career in the sense that khan had to fight carlos molina (LOLZ) and stuggle against julio diaz. also, no one will ever take khan seriously ever again, so i would say his career is over as a result of that...
This! i think i would accredit the complete derailment of Mosleys career to Vernon Forrest
hell no. he went on to wins vs. oscar, tony, and...well you may have a point.
its probably been brought up but Tszyu/Hatton was the end for Tszyu
Well I guess we can add Alfonso Gomez ending the great career of Arturo Gatti, since were talking last fights.
Lol man I just threw it out there since they were trolling about it why so serious? But at the very least, Hernandez had a title going into the fight while Gatti had lost them all already.

Whoaa whoa never said that at all, but the question was fights that ended careers literally/figuratively and Genaro retired after the Floyd fight. Hence the technically...
