BRIAN MAGEE has tipped Mikkel Kessler to continue his Brit bashing against Carl Froch in Saturday’s world super-middleweight title unification clash.
Denmark’s WBA world champion Kessler knocked out Magee in three rounds last December and bids to do the double over Nottingham’s IBF title-holder Froch at London’s O2 Arena.
Kessler outpointed Froch three years ago but the Brit is a 1-2 betting favourite with home advantage for the rematch and has been more active since their scrap in Denmark. Click Here To Read More]
Well Mikkel Kessler beat Carl Froch the first time so I don't see why many people think Froch is the favourite?
Probably the huge home-town advantage that he is likely to have but even at that I don't think It will make Kessler fight any differently.
Can Froch adjust properly and correct the mistakes and beat the guy who beat him last time?
Magee still seems butthurt about Froch basically calling him a paper champ and not very good in the MaGee-Kessler program.
Let it go son, he was right.
I'll say the opposite. I think Carl is fresher. I've written it before: Kessler is worn and he didn't seem to take shots very well against Green. He has also been prone to injuries lately. I definitely think Froch is the fresher fighter but everything can happen.
If Kessler moves straight back with his chin up like last time they fought, Carl will make him pay and get the stoppage.
