Is Richard Shaefer going to come out and finally admit
"we have the new Floyd Mayweather"!
what do you guys think??
Hopefully not, Mayweather wasn't protected on his way up. Mayweather had to fight his way to the top unlike some of today's stars. Browner may look, act, and fight like Money, but Broner could never be more than a duplicate unless he stops following the blueprint.
I was actually just thinking about this earlier and I say yes. I think they'll try and promote him as the next Mayweather and than down the line have a "Mayweather vs Pacquiao" in Broner vs Matthysse.
I voted no he won't say that. Schaefer kisses up to Mayweather because Mayweather is the money man. He goes out of his way to stay on Mayweather's good side.Until Mayweather retires I don't think he would say anything Mayweather might not like. Broner will probably win the fight but Paulie has a chance to win. Paulie went 12 rounds with the hard punching Cotto, he can box, and he won't quit.
That was a long time ago. In his last defeat, he was STOPPED by Khan.
well beating Paulie would put him on par with Mayweather so he should say it.
but only if he goes the distance and UD's his clearly overmatched opponent
Ricky Hatton and Amir Khan beat Paulie Malignaggi, are they on par with Mayweather?

Floyd is still at the top of his game, so obviously not.
Dom he has slipped some but still really good no doubt.
We still have yet to see what Pac has left
it was a weird comment from RS thats for sure
