What are some fighters that are active today and let's say has been in with solid competition and has 20+ fights without ever being dropped?
I do not think Matthysse has ever been down or even hurt and he's been in with the best. Mayweather has one official "knockdown" when he hurt his hand against Carlos Hernandez and also that unofficial flash knockdown when Judah caught him although it wasn't counted as one.
I do not think Robert Helenius has ever been down although he was hurt by that overhand right from Williams but Helenius hasn't been up against the best competition either. I could be wrong but Danny Garcia hasn't been dropped either right? Other than that can't think of too many.
Just thought I'd update this thread.
Quillin, Murray, Povetkin, Matthysse, Chavez Jr, Alvarado, Broner, Donaire have all been knocked down since this thread was started.
Rios still hasn't gone down to my knowledge. Neither has Danny Garcia. And of course Golovkin hasn't been close to going down.
Rios has gone down earlier in his career.

I think you're right. Man, that fight against N'Jikam was great.
On a sidenote - I don't think Ajose Olusegun had been knocked down in his pro career before Matthysse. So Soto and Olusegun were two guys that never been dropped before they faced Matthysse, just speaks to his power.
I don't think Alexander has tasted the canvas either besides his fight against Mattysse.
He never went down in that fight. He somehow managed to stay upright from that Sanders onslaught too. Hes the Terminator.
Yeah I can't believe the sound of one of Lewis uppercut that landed, nasty. But he didn't even wobble in the slightest. I think that shot would have knocked out most heavyweights. Here's the clip at 04:37:
Vatali was dropped by lewis I'm almost sure but I got to go back, I know one thing he was getting in lewis as that fight

ahh ok yeah just saw that on youtube. He looked pretty hurt too
12:28. It was a good shot no doubt, he did the right thing to try to clinch but he was a bit lucky it was late in the round.
It's kind of interesting to see fighters in trouble early in their career, like Ward and Rios and see how they have developed. Rios with his durable chin while Ward has learned how to not get hit.
I have not seen any mention of Andre Ward so far. Has he ever been dropped?
Yup... by ol' boy that just fought Stevenson. Forgot his name now...

Rios is the chin of boxing today. To my knowledge he's never been down.
He was knocked down several times earlier in his career and lucky not to get stopped against Joel Ortega.

Or any fighter you dont like, you completely dismiss their opposition?
How am I dismissing his opposition? He beat Salido and I just called it a solid win. Was Concepcion a solid win? His opposition is what it is anyway you try to put it.

Alvarado never did go down vs Rios huh? That's a good one too.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
