Well Floyd tried a CW once, and he couldn't make it. If Floyd thought he would make 144 and be the same guy, he would have. He probably knew mid camp that he wasn't going to get down there. I think it was more about not wanting to take the risk of weakening himself, he makes so much money he doesn't need to and can easily pay the penalty. This^ The most cautious fighter in the sport didn't even try to make the catchweight, he was trying to eek out every pre-fight advantage he could against a lightweight moving up. Yeah, the full limit is fair for both guys. Again, Matthysse has never fought at 147. He will move up for the money, but let's not pretend it's fair. He is unproven at the weight.

how is that fair on Matthysse? he's not a 147 fighter Because we all know Matthysse has to go up to WW in order to fight Floyd, and Floyd doesn't weigh that much past 147 either. It's the only way it works IMO.
