while i wouldn't put him in the top 5 by any stretch, pacquiao is an ATG puncher for sure.
He's a puncher no doubt but more of a volume puncher with good power. There's definitely more 1 punch guys out there that deserve to be above him.

nothin stupid in that prediction at all, alot of great minds thought guerrero could have made it hell for floyd, and most guys that know their stuff should be suprised with how floyd came out in that fight, he literally looked prime, like he was fighting at 130, power, lightning speed, movement, it was all there, shocking stuff
It WAS shocking. How does an older fighter return to such form...
I''m not going to accuse him of anything but I immediately thought, "this guy is probably on something..."

It's not possible. Steward was a great trainer but sometimes he said stupid things. He picked Guerrero to beat Mayweather. If Naseem hit harder than Lewis there would have been some featherweight fatalities. Lucas Matthysse might hit harder than Lewis. Just kidding.

Naz was a big time puncher but his defense was pathetic.
He was a Featherweight version of Ricardo Mayorga.
if you're being serious you've got to watch him some more.
he had flaws and poor fundamentals, but he was leagues beyond mayorga.
Prince Naseem was the hardest hitting puncher, Emanuel Steward once said he hit harder than Lennox Lewis.
Hows that possible?
it's not.
steward was a great trainer, but he's always had some funny takes and is guilty of hyperbole.
Foreman is P4P 1, he KO'd guys cold with some of the softest looking punches i've ever seen. He had KO power in a jab.
He had the power to be at the top, but still didn't hit as hard as a Tyson or Shavers....... and also David Tua I think is stronger than Foreman.
I always hear about Naz's power, p4p etc but what about other punchers around the weight?
Did Naz hit as hard as say..
Carlos Zarate
Wilfredo Gomez
Alexis Arguello
Alfonso Zamora
Barrera & Morales (both very underrated punchers in the lower weights and both carried their power up)
I think Naz hit harder certainly a lot harder than Barrera but in their fight Barrara did a good job in not letting Naz land.

Because Naseem was on so much juice they almost decided to call him Mayweather promotions.
You realize why that statement is absurd, right?
Yea I was wondering the same thing unless they were discussing hypothetical match ups that may happen in the future.
Yes, that is what Manny was talking about. A possible future fight between Mayweather and Guerrero. This was back when Guerrero hurt his shoulder and said he would come back as a welterweight and try to get a fight with Floyd. He really did pick Guerrero to win unless Boxing Scene headlines got it wrong. If I knew I was going to get so much sh*t over this I never would have typed it.
You realize why that statement is absurd, right? As I told the other guy according to Boxing Scene top headlines which I read every day Manny said IF IF IF Floyd and Guerrero ever fought he would favor Guerrero to beat Floyd. This was when Manny was very much alive. Guerrero even quoted Manny when he has trying like hell to get the Floyd fight. As I told the other guy I don't lie or make things up on this forum. No the statement is not absurd. It was right here in black and white on this forum that we are both members of. Research it if you want and you will see I am telling the truth.
