Not sure if this has been brought up but it's disgusting. Sr. states only way fight happens is if Canelo isn't over 150lb on fight night. What do you guys think?
*EDIT* Floyd fans were asking for a source. Start at 2:30
Boom! Found it, start at 2:30
:lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1:
stutterring, selective editing, contradictions all in the same sentence...dude has no faith in his son or his own training ability
source?? this is too ridiculous to be true
Is there an actual quote of Sr saying Canelo has to be 150 night of the fight?
Any proof to this? Source....link.....video? Something? Also for those saying Floyd will be remembered as a cherry picker, you're idiots. He'll be remembered as the greatest boxer of this generation, and all his peers already say he is... some even the greatest of all time... so lets be real... come on son.

I got the quote from the original Mayweather Sr. Video when he states the fight must take place at 147lb. Someone posted it yesterday and the video itself is nowhere to be found. I tried youtube/google etc. can't find it.
If someone can find the video where Sr. states Canelo must come down to 147lb, it's on there. It's like 3-4minutes into the video. I wonder why this video isn't anywhere..
I think Canelo should call floyd out in a live presser and call him a straight up coward and a phoney champ if he refuses to fight him at the proper weight. if Floyd still refuses f him, Canelo v Cotto is bigger than MAyweather v Alexander anyway.
A good, not great, but good, strong, young champion is enough to give floyd the sh*ts ... weight drained or nothing lol
I wouldn't be surprised, I think Mayweather wants to be in total control and dictate every aspect of the negotiations.
I honestly don't bother believing anything Mayweather Sr says. He comes off as the type of individual who enjoys living through Jr's success and hogs and needs the spotlight. He's probably a great trainer, but any serious issue regarding negotiations, family matters, future plans for Jr. that come out of his mouth should be taken with nothing more than a grain of salt
I think the Mayweathers are full of sh*t and a bunch of liars and they want no part of a fight with a healthy Canelo. Ortiz weighed 164 on fight night but they weren't afraid of Ortiz. Cotto weighed 166 on fight night but they weren't afraid of Cotto. Now Canelo can't weigh more than 150 on fight night which is about 20 pounds less than he usually weighs on fight night. They are afraid of this good young champion and that is clear to me.
Canelo said he doesnt wanna fight unless they both weigh 180 on fight night. Right at 180. Not a pound above or below. Oh and that Floyd is gay, I think he added that part though just so you guys would believe the 180 part... If its not anti Floyd its probably BS right?
Dont ask for a source just believe it because youre reading it.

Actually, he more known for the fight he didnt have. Its not boxers who determine memory, its fans an writers.
You cant disagree on whythe fight didnt happen,
But it does not change the outcome.
In my head he wins every fantasy fight, but that doesnt matter

lol I hope this is a joke like with Alexander. Go beat Canelos ass, you can do it, Whiny ass man
Another example of smart self-promoting, Floyd made people think he was fighting Alexander to increase demand for the Guerrero fight (that stunt may have pulled him an extra 100K to 250 K ppvs).
Maybe this is Floyd's way of promoting the fight (a future fight); make it look like he's ducking Canelo, thereby increasing the demand for the fight. It's what a smart businessman would do.
Haha the vagina wants to pull a Pacquiao :D
Just fight that ginger bastard at 154 with a fight night weight stipulation. As long as ginger doesn't balloon past 165 it should be a fair fight.
Ive given the benefit of the doubt to Floyd, for years.
His retirement when the WW division got hot, missing weight for Marquez, not fighting Pac, nit fightig prime Cotto and Shane....but im done.
Issues that dont matter with fighters hell beat, testing and now fight day weights , become important when he is insecure. First he became a peds crusader to avoid Pac, now hell be all about day in weigt, which no boxer cares about enough to avoid a fight.
He is a supreme talent, but he is also, without further doubt, an insecure little *****.
Theres no way to rationalize him manufacturimg obstacles to avoud challenges. Be a boxing fan, not a floyd fan, and youll admit it. I appreciate his talent and enjoy his fights, but ATG dont go down in history as insecure *****es who happen to not fight their natural rivals.
Sure.....he gins so much by "playing us". All he is doing is having people laughing at him right now....don't see how that's a good thing. If he fights him at 154, fine, just sign the contract and make it happen. With all this talk of weight issues, it will look like Floyd was cornered into fighting him if he signs at 154.
Looks much better if he says "I can beat you at any weight" and makes it happen right away. Especially since they both have a belt at 154......
"We both got belts at 154, Let's make it happen! Has to be under 150 doe!"
All I know is you guys better pray Lil Floyd isn't playing ya'll and takes the fight at 154.

A fair condition, IMO, would be to have the fight at 154lbs with the restriction that the fighters would still have to be at 154lbs on fight night.
That way Floyd and Canelo would be very close on size entering the ring and an attainable task for Canelo.
At 147lbs, with 150lbs on fight night, that's handicapping Canelo completelly.
