Are you as passionate about any other sports as you are boxing

Used to be for American football, but not as much anymore. Still enjoy it, but not like boxing. Basketball and boxing are by far my two favorite sports.

Nope not at all. I occasionally watch college basketball and NFL when the redskins play really other than that I just don't care unless its boxing and I really can't even keep up with that like a lot of people on here but I'd like to

Because of boxing I cannot take the other sports seriously. They're ridiculously oversimplified by comparison and the "fans" are pathetically superficial and generic. Boxing is in a completely different stratosphere.

The more I sit here and think about it, it is a pretty good question. I think the teams I support in other sports, say football, basketball, or baseball rival games might bring more "excitement" out of me. But I don't have nearly 30,000 posts on a boxing website because I think the sport is "O.K." :lol1: I love boxing. Been watching it for about 30 years now. NFL is still numero uno. But as I have gotten older, the sport has overtaken basketball and baseball, for me.

Yup, well said, the only sport where I ever re-watch events is boxing. And I do it often. Sh*t I buy old boxing dvds. Would never do that with any other sport. That said, on gameday, the NFL rivals (probably equal to) my love for boxing.

After thinking for a while I came up with this to help explain how my love for boxing differs from other sports: I watch a ton of sports live, but I will never pop in an old Browns game or KU basketball game and watch it. I will re-watch highlights of old games or games I have already seen sometimes, but never the entire games. However, I love watching old fights and re-watching fights I have already seen, even if I have seen them a several times (first two Pacquiao Marquez fights for instance) or they were complete let downs (Klitschko Haye). I know there are several people on here that probably feel the same. Good post. I can't relate pertaining to other sports but have watched fights I have already seen several times and even find myself at times excited like I do t know the outcome. Lol

Are you as passionate about any other sports as you are boxing?...are there any other sports you feel as passionate or more so than you do boxing? For me the only other that runs a near second is MMA. I have never been a huge traditional sports fan Yes, baseball. I have loved both sports since I can remember. Nope. I could care less about any other sports, nothing can replace boxing for me. I like WWE though :beerchug:

I was into Basket ball, football, and baseball but now I just watch the playoffs. Boxing is my number one sport now and has always been deep down.

Boxing is the only sport that I have any invested interest in. I enjoy watching international rugby union when it's on the television, but I don't follow it beyond that. My iPod consists mainly of boxing matches.

Only HW's? Usually it's the other way. Is there a reason?mainly because i eat at the same buffets...always liked it since i started watching around 14...mike tyson was tearing it up & been watching since...i always liked the heavies...

Boxing is head and shoulders above any other sport for me although I like basketball and American Football a bit also big Bulls and Bears fan but they do not come close to Boxing to me.
