All this Floyd is a 154 champ and should fight Canelo @154 is non sense. Floyd looked significantly sluggish and less fluid @ 154 against Cotto. @ 147 he his super light on his feet and is in his optimal form @ this weight. Canelo needs to fight someone his own size the next weight class up and stop picking on a guy that we all fu%ckin know is best @ welterweight not 154!!!
Strip Floyd of that bogus 154lb belt he won from Cotto and carry on. That I will not deny is a bogus win for a 154lb belt.
Say something.......
One can't have it both ways. Why wasn't it a duck, when a 35 year old weight drained Oscar De La Hoya agreed to come down and fight a smaller Manny Pacquiao at the 147 lbs welterweight division; Weighing in at a 145 lbs to be exact. Also, a weight class he hadn't competed in for over 7 years. While at the same time, being so wrong; For Mayweather to do the same and request that a 22 year old 154 lb Jr. middleweight fighter, who is much younger and athletic than Oscar was at that time, to come down in weight and challenge a smaller 36 years old fighter who is no longer in his prime?
Because it was Oscar who agreed to come to that weight and pushed for it, you can't blame PAC for it and many were picking Oscar to beat down the smaller Pacman.
With Canelo he's young and inexperienced against top fighters, and Floyd's perceived to be the best thing since sliced bread add in the fact that he's already fought at 154 why can't he take a real challenge and just fight Canelo at his natural weight?

Floyd although a great fighter with great skills will never be a top atg cos he's never really fought a fully fledged welterweight. I mean he retired when things were hotting up at 147 with Cotto, Williams and Marghrito. Pacman thought Cotto at his better weight.
Floyd just doesn't like taking risks if I'm perfectly honest, so I doubt he'd fight Canelo and if he does he'd probs bring him to a 150 catch weight.
I agree with you. Floyd will never fight Canelo or Lara or Trout so he should lose the 154 pound title he won from Cotto over a year ago. Floyd has no intention of defending his 154 pound WBA championship anyway. Boxing Scene top headlines said he won't fight Canelo at any weight heavier than 147 and that is an impossible weight for Canelo to make. Canelo has moved on and will be almost certainly be fighting Cotto next. Floyd will probably fight Alexander, Garcia or unworthy Khan in September. People need to forget about Mayweather-Canelo because it will never happen. Floyd won't risk his 0 fighting the best bigger men and I agree he should not have to.He should just vacate his 154 pound crown and be done with it.
Floyd wouldn't even get out of his chair out of fear of a 147 Margarito. BTW, I don't appreciate your sig pic. Its disrespectful to the biggest warrior in boxing and I would appreciate if you would to remove it if your a real boxing fan. You're f**king with him, right?
I think even the slightly diminished at '54 Floyd looks leagues better than almost anyone else there. He holds the the belt, he should take the Canelo fight.
Damn got all of you guy's responding in a row. Answer this, does Floyd perform better @ welter or 154? Be honest.
Oh the 154lb is bogus because Cotto is 147lber posing a a 154, stop lying to yourself.
Funny that this never stopped Floyd from getting guys 1, 2, 3 divisions below his WW division.
We told Floyd fans that 147 was NOT Hatton's best weight but that didn't seem to bother you guys. We told you that he looked average in his only fight at 147. Floyd fans still didn't mind and wanted full complete credit.
Now ..... how about Marquez ..... lol come on up almost 3 divisions!
I hope you can at least consider using this in your sig instead respectfully.

I like this one better.

haha it is his own personal weight that effects his performance: Speed, agility, footwork, timing, balance. I know you comprehend this as well ya fu^kin wank. :cool2:
So just weigh in at 145 , you don't have to put on any weight to fight in a higher weight division. There is no minimum weight in the pros only in the amateurs.
Floyd can fight Canelo at 154 and weight 100lbs if he wants.
He just doesn't want to fight this guy because its too risky.
That's what I tried to tell KEV but the fool kept that pic in his sig for god knows how long. Now it's biting him in the ass and it's possibly the reason why he hasn't posted in a while.
He now posts under PrettyBoyRoy88. Hes ashamed of Floyd right now.
Everyone knew it would come back to bite him in the ass as if Floyd would ever defend that belt.

This just shows how terrible the RING rankings/belt are nowadays. Like him or not, there's just no way you can say Canelo is the legitimate champ at 154 for one good win over a division with a few names out there, including Mayweather

I'm a real boxing fan, and I respect the hell out of Pacquiao, but that picture and fight holds a lot of significance to me so I have to respectfully decline your request.
Floyd not being the best at 154 despite having a title there pretty much explains how everything else of him is fake as well.
Easy big fella, easy. They're gonna bring up Pac-Margarito if you keep being that aggressive.

You realize Floyd only puts on 2-3 pounds for his fights at 154 right? Doesn't even come close to the limit.
If he Sucks at 154...the NOW on earth did he become #1 @ 154???????:WORD:
That all? Ran out of ammo? That's like saying how is Manny P #8 p4p according to Ring magazine? I like Manny too. :boxing:
To answer your question, he is or was by default. He fought for a belt and won from a blown up welter, which Floyd was himself. Canelo is the man 154 no denying.:boxing:
Cuz he fights blown up smaller handpicked fighters! Are you even reading my posts? :smashfrea

In my honest opinion Floyd will beat Canelo at 154. He is faster and more skilled than the ginger. He can easily out box him. What the sham is the fact that u think its ok for Floyd to ask Canelo to drop to 147 a weight Canelo hasn't made in years and a weight Canelo never said he would fight mauwearher at. It's even more sad that u don't see this as a blatant duck.
Plain and simple this is just Floyd ducking another real challenge and a threat. And u are just another example of a momo trying to defend this duck king.
I would have respect well a little respect if Floyd were to just say I'm fighting at 147 and not going up and Canelo is just too big an strong. A damn shame he isn't willing to test himself even one bit. Damn shame
Fighting Canelo @147 would be a sham too. Get it?? It sucks for both fighters.
You're just being insecure. The Cotto and De La Faggot fights were not close at all.
haha that is your best rebuttal? Close enough to see that he sucks @ 154! 147 shows the legs, speed and all the other Sh1t that makes him a beast. Yeah he made the pac fight impossible to make too. Can you believe I only speak objective facts? Sh1t is banana's ain't it? :boxing:
No excuses, you know Floyd sucks @ 154 and that is the only way Canelo would stand a chance, to fight a half a$$ Floyd, that is a fuc%in sham.

Which great WWs did he beat at 147?
I'm not talking about fighters stepping up from lower weight classes with just one or two fights at the weight.
None. My point is, Floyd clearly sucks @ super welter, and is vastly superior @ 147, thus why he is hesitant to fight ol boy @ 154. I am no fan boy, I love boxing.
