Fight that you feel the winner was given way to much credit for

Hatton vs Castillo Mayweather vs Hatton No offense to the Brits, but Hatton was a product of mass hype. That shouldnt have been pitched to fans as some sort of pinnacle fight. What made it more annoying is that the Mayweather camp treated it as such. Such a sham experience, plus Hatton, as foolish as he was for buying the hype, didn't deserve that kind treatment as all it did was magnify is imminent humility. Hatton fought with heart though, he was just random and lively enough to make it far more interesting than I thought it would be.

Barrera was the featherweight kingpin who just beat prince and morales and gave both their 1st loss. barrera would go to win many more fights over the next 5 years Morales had just beaten manny. Yes he was outboxed by zahir raheem but styles make matches. Manny came back from a loss and ko'd the iron chin morales. Oscar was a huge favorite going into that fight. Jsut because manny waxed that ass does change the fact that oscar was a huge favorite. Hatton was the kingpin of 140 after he beat the great kosta tzsyu, he lossed to floyd in a competitive fight at welter where ricky didnt belong. Manny snatch lineal championship and hatton's soul. Nobody predicted that manny would just destroy hatton the way he did Clottey was a legit welter who was in wars with margarito and cotto. Manny abused him like a sparring partner. The others werent great wins but i dont remember anyone bragging about the diaz win anyways. Please stop being such a hater

Cotto-Margarito 2. I'm glad Cotto got his revenge but come on, Margarito's eye was closed by the second round. He was in no condition to fight. Pacquiao-Morales 2. A big part of Pac's legend is slaying the Mexican legends, but Morales at this point was gone. Kind of like Cotto-Margarito, it was revenge and nothing else. Mayweather-Gatti. For f*ck's sake, this fight did not prove that Mayweather is some super amazing ATG. He has better fights against much better fighters to prove he's great. Coming soon: Alvarez-Trout. Alvarez arguably didn't even win, and the entire thing ended up being a farce.
