Does that mean anything? I mean, Broner went life and death with Daniel Ponce De Leon and couldn't stay in the pocket like Mares did. Mares hits harder and a bit more accurate than Broner.

Mares was a 2 division champion prior to fighting Ponce, Broner was still quite green & has improved heaps & bounds since that fight. Hard to take that comment seriously when you have a ball grappling stoner as your avatar.

Does that mean anything? I mean, Broner went life and death with Daniel Ponce De Leon and couldn't stay in the pocket like Mares did. Mares hits harder and a bit more accurate than Broner. Most believe Broner lost to Daniel plus I also believe Quintero deserved a decision against Broner aswell. I don't buy the Broner hype. Broner moved out of the lighter divisions as soon as possible master Cherry Picker taught him well.

Lets not even mention how long ago that fight was or anything. PDL is older and is pretty shop worn. Good win for Mares nothing more.

mares had the advantage of knowing how ponce fights , they used to spar each other...and i dont think ponce really won vs broner anyways , nobody deserved to win that fight imo....both did'nt do sh1t ...

Mares just fought him though, If todays Broner fought him he would stop PDL too. Either way I'm a fan of both

That's because Broner at the time could not fight in the pocket, which is why he strayed away every time PDL got close. Think it's obvious he's a much more improved fighter. Hit harder? That's laughable, more accurate at the time yes. There is a case. He fought really well in the pocket against Gavin Rees and Eloy Perez.
