Frank Ducketts should stop watching boxing
Yes i agree. For instance he hasnt got Pac in the top 10 on the basis of being robbed by Bradley who so happens to be in his top 5.
Also he has Sergio at no4 even though he was taken to the brink of a draw against an unknown brit not even in the top 40 p4p's as far as we know, with a favourable hometown decision. But i guess they will elevate Murray up to 20 now, to make Sergio not look so awful.
Juan Manuel Marquez
I'm just not sold on Marquez. In my opinion, Pacquiao, who likes to stalk his opponent, frequently lunging in, is taylor made for Marquez, who is almost exclusive a counter-puncher.
Not taking away from the accomplishment of Marquez beating Pacquiao, I'm just not sold that JMM is versatile enough to match up with other top fighters that pose a different threat style wise.
Also, in my opinion, Mayweather's far too selective, at this stage, to have a legitimate claim at #1 on this list. There was a time, but not at current.
1. Floyd- No brainer, Does everything well, textbook Defense, Jab, Footwork, Body attack, etc
2. Andre Ward- Only Fighter to clean out his division completely.
3. Juan manual marquez- Slowing down but absolute technically perfect, but will be the next to fall from this list
4. Rigo- I will take alot of flack for this ranking, I understand the counter-argument, but dude has serious skills, hits and doesnt get hit, embarrassed a top 5 p4p in donaire
5,Manny Pac- Had a bad year in 2012 being left face down butt up but got robbed against bradley. Would be hard pressed to find a guy his size that can beat him
6. Tim Bradley- All he does is win. Won vs miguel vasquez, went overseas to get first belt, beat undefeated peterson, abgreu, alexander, By hook or crook beat manny, went to the depths of hell to beat providnikov. Simply a winner
Numbers 7-10 are widely debatable. You could make a case for a alot of different fights.
7. Carl Froch- Much like bradley, all he does is win, I think he beats kessler.
8. Adrien Broner- Dude has skills, reminds me of james toney where he just fights in spurts, but is so good he can get away with it. Needs to step up competition
9. Canelo- good power, youth, experience with over 40 fights, does show some flaws but would only be exposed by elite caliber fighters
10. Klitchkos- Just dominant in their division. And no end in sight. Good jab, devasting power, underrated defense
Honorable mentions: Hopkins-too old to beat an elite fighter, serg-best days behind him, Donaire-looked absolutely lost vs rigo, Trout, Mikey garcia, Danny Garcia
i think pound for pound lists should rarely have middleweights and above in them, (ward right now is probably the exception) little guys like gamboa or nonito donaire would destroy most middle weights if they were an even size.
If they were in even size they wouldn't be as fast or seem a hard hitting.

So at the same weight, you'd favour Bradley over Pacquiao? That's really all I need to know
Just another example, of many, where people forget what P4P actually is and instead just list the fighters who they like with some names added in that they hear from other lists.
Gets boring
Exactly, Pac leaves his top 10 because Pac got robbed by Bradley who is in his top 5, and loses to a top 5 p4p fighter in jmm, after beating him 3 times?
Floyd on the other hand stays at no1, even though he hasnt beaten any top 10 p4ps, let alone top 5. The last time he beat a top 10, it was SSM, but we all know SSM should never have been there in the first place. BH is also in his top 10, but hasnt beaten any top 10 p4ps and has lost to people not in the top 10. Sergio is also his no4 rated fighter even though he got taken to the wire against a unknow brit, probably not ranked in the top 50p4p.
1. Floyd
2. Marquez
3. Ward
4. Martinez
5. Bradley
6. Mares
7. Garcia
8. Hopkins
9. Wlad
10. Rigo
Right there: Broner, Canelo, Matthysse, Gamboa, Dawson, Pac, Quillen, Golovkin, Peterson, Alvarado, Mikey Garcia, John,

Donaire should still be in there also PAcquiaoA case can be made for Pac imo, not Donaire. Donaire is one fight away from being back in the top 10 though.
1)JMM
2)Pac
3) Ward
4)Wlad
5)Froch
6)Haye
7)Floyd
8)Donaire
9)Rigo
10)Bradley
