You also have to remember that he fought Miguel Cotto. A fight we wanted to see for years and he was a ppv draw. RG wasn't on that level. Floyd had the Mexicans and the Puerto Ricans buying that PPV.

Now it's safe to say that if ever Mayweather fights Canelo, Floyd will be deemed the B-side.

To get a million plus ppv buys any fighter needs a great opponent. FLoyd needs to fight canelo, manny, and maybe serg to get over 1 mil plus. Still 800-900k buys is not bad at all. Still the biggest draw in the sport.

Not gonna lie I didn't buy this fight, but if Canelo VS Trout had been on the undercard I would have definitely bought it.

PPV numbers Blame the Ghost for below average ppv numbers, he is not known and not a fan type of boxer. He tried to use his poverty and even his wife health to bring boxing fans but the bottom line is he is a B+ type fighter at the most with hardly no following. The card was above average if you ask me. Not sure what the numbers will be yet but I say below the money team expectations.

Well there's a few actually. -The buildup was horrible -No hype, no suspense -Improper promotion on Showtime's part -Guerrero was seen as another Floyd cherrypick -No Canelo (You cannot sit there and say that if Canelo vs Trout was on this PPV, it would have done the same, no... it would have done much higher)
