If Floyd's mandatory was Guerrero, and since he beat him who is the next "mandatory" then?
I know Boxing does not work this way, but just wondering once you beat your mandatory, do you just get to choose, or is there suppose to be some one next on the list?
So what would happen if say Pacquiao was made mandatory to Mayweather? I guess he would just vacate the belt?
Tbf Guerrero was no star.
Stupid people like this is the reason I been on this forum for years but never posted dude do u have any idea what da hek your talking about sometimes?

yes, Floydiot has his own rules, like when he cheated on the scales against a bloated lightweight. :lol1:
Floyd doesnt fight mandos. The fact that Guerrero was the WBC interim champ didnt matter at all and was simply a coincidence. He would have chosen Robert even if he didnt have the interim belt and wouldnt have to fight another fighter if they held it. Its just blowing smoke, im not sure why people bring it up like it matters at all

He at least had that past belts (legit belts at FW and SFW) so it wasn't that bad. I still didn't see him as legit... but all Abregu has is a fight against Bradley.... which he lost.
It depends on the boxing association (WBO/WBC/IBF etc ), normally the champion should fight his mandatory challanger within a certain time frame from the last defense.
If the champion and the contender cannot find an agreement the commission may order a purse bid.
Voluntary defences can be made in between mandatories, some commission requires the contender to be listed in the top 15#, according to the list provided by the organization.

Hope it can help :)

Abregu is the number 1 contender, but he's with Top Rank and Floyd won't fight him because he doesn't come close to being recognizable.
Besides, the WBC will probably make Khan the #1 since he fought P4P legend Julio Diaz, who was robbed 7 times and should be undefeated.
I think, if I remember, WBC has you defend the belt once every 6 months. Don't know if it has to be the mandatory every time though... but I think they let you have a voluntary in there.
