rigo over donaire, but they were both very impressive. floyd just had to work a bit harder as oposed to rigo who was boxing on cruise control much of the fight, floyd got hit a bit more too.
He did get hit in those last 3 rounds, beccause he tried to throw combinations between Ghost's combinations. Thing is Ghost doesnt throw combinations, he throws flurries. His punches are so close together, that he has a great chance at almost landing two at once. When Floyd opened up in the last few rounds, he started getting clipped. But before that, he was outboxing the shiet out of him. Rigo did great in his first elite fight. But he never took any risk, or went for a KO.

neither can Floyd so whats your point? and Donaire himself said postfight he was hurt in the 12th Rigo had blind donaire infornt of him in the 12th he was landing everything he threw in that round and could have stopped him if he went for it
Floyd has been dominating for 17 yrs bro GTFO. He has stopped, and hurt plenty of elite fighters. At this point in time, he is hitting 4 times harder than he used too, and I never in a million years thought he would even phase Ghost. He was doing major damage. Rigo has only fought one elite fighter his entire life. Couldnt phase him because he doesnt really have that power! The reason Rigo couldnt hurt Nonito is because Nonito is not a bum like the guys Rigo normally fights. Rigo COULDNT go after Nonito even if he wanted to, because if they both colided, and refused to take a step back, Nonito would have been too big. Rigo was too small to do anything but fight on the outside. Nonito ran because he had double vision, and Rigo tried to do something, but Nonito wasnt letting him get close. Learn about this boxing game my lil dawg! Nice tlk, tnx!
This is an easy question. Of course it's Rigondeaux's performance against Nonito Donaire; Who was the #5 ranked P4P boxer in the world at the time. Guillermo was a heavy underdog going into that fight and almost no one: Including hardcore boxing fans and experts alike gave him much of chance of defeating "The Filipino Flash". On the other hand, Money's performance was as expected. After all, he was the #1 P4P top dog in the sport going into that fight. Therefore, his performance proved absolutely nothing against a very game but limited and overachieving Robert Guerrero.
rigo obviously ... all you have to do is look at what was being said pre fight .... rigo v donaire ... close fight many indeed most were thinking donaire would win.
floyd v guerrero ... easy fight for floyd, guerrero ain't that dangerous etc a few thinking floyd might get old on the night ...
what happens rigo completely outclasses donaire and floyd completely outclasses guerrero .... so what's the more impressive after that ... well obviously the guy that wasn't expected to be so dominant and was thought to have the much tougher opponent.
I'd have to go for El Chacal. Rigo schooled a top 5 P4P fighter in his 12th pro fight. Floyd schooled Robert Guerrero, no comparison really. Floyd did put on some clinic though and made Guerrero look awful. I also like the new Floyd. Very impressed when he told Sr to cool it after the fight. New classy Floyd is growing on me. Feels kinda weird
But Rigo cannot drop an elite fighter the way he drops bums.

last round of the fight had Donaire on his bike I don't think Donaire threw another punch until he heard the 10 second warning and Rigo definitely had Donaire respecting his power
I dont care if he was on his bike or not. Not once was he hurt. And I already said he respected Rigo's power. But Rigo cannot drop an elite fighter the way he drops bums.
Rigo never came close to stoppage, stop making up stories. Floyd is hitting 4 times harder than he used to hit, and his body shots sounded like a sledge hammer in that 8th round. His sweeping right hook sounded like a broom dipped in gasoline, sat on fire, being slapped across Ghost's temple...Eating through the side of his head. Floyd was buckling him. Rigo hits hard enough to get respect, but not hard enough to stagger Donaire.

Guerrero looked better in his loss then Donaire did also Rigo came closer to stoppage then Floyd did

This isn't even debatable. Donaire in comparison to the Ghost is far greater pfp and bigger than Rigo who damn near pitched a shut out against a top pfp fighter.
Ghost is waay bigger than Floyd. And more size advantage over his opponent, in contrast to Donaire's over Rigo. But both guys are huge for their weight class. Ghost looked like a big headed version of Genero Hernandez.
Rigondeaux by far. Not only was Donaire much bigger, he was top 5 p4p and the lineal champion. The skill level between Donaire vs Guerrero is huge as well.
Donaire is overrated. He can only outspeed slower squared fighters. He cant brawl, make adjustments, no nothing. Ghost can box, brawl, swarm, walk through shots, counter, adjust. Donaire has always been overrated. Ghost has more potential overall and he's much bigger than Floyd, on comparison to how much bigger Nonito is than Rigo. With that being said, Both Nonito and Ghost are waaay too big for the guys they recently fought.
Rigos win is more meaningful but his performance wasn't impressive compared to Floyds.
Nonito was a top fighter but he didn't come to fight at all, Guerrero was slow and couldn't catch Floyd but he actually tried.
Floyd threw more punches was showing everything against a weak opposition, but at least he was trying to knock the guy out.
I didn't like the guerrero fight it wasn't like a barnburner but it was still more impressive than Rigo's cautious fight agianst Donaire.
Some of you are forgetting how boring that fight was it was basically rigo with his hand up measuring Donaire and putting his lead foot forward so Donaire couldn't get in close or properly place his foot close enough, it was boring as hell, it wasn't complete. Best round was the last round and the round Nonito dropped him.
Other than that it was boring unimpressive and uneventful.
Mayweather looked much better.
Again more meaningful win goes to Rigo cause Nonito was a top guy
More impressive less meaningful win goes to Floyd.
Both fights were uneventful, but Floyd was the least boring of the two.
Yup pretty much agreed with everything you said there!
How can you enjoy a completely one sided fight...
You could say you're enjoying the boxing but its just silly, especially when you stayed up to 4 in the morning for that kind of fight!
You can atleast get some fights that are one sided that aren't boring i.e. If Rigo actually cared to create his own offensive instead of skipping around the ring for the entirety of the fight I might of just said it was a good watch but it clearly wasn't.
Rigo schooled a top 5 p4p...a fighter I thought extremely high of...Floyd schooled a dude who got beat by Salido a few years ago....a dude who QUIT while fighting in front of his home crowd...a dude I thought NOTHING of...yes I DID pick him to beat Berto but I picked EVERYBODY Berto has fought in the last 3 or 4 yrs to beat him....I think NOTHING of Berto as well
Rigo's win and performance was better imo
Both were great technical fights that a true boxing fan could appreciate but the fact that Floyd was making the action happen and hit him from All angles not just a straight left and also that rigo go kd makes the Floyd a more dominant performance. More meaningful win for rigo of course tho.
