In the post-fight conf of the Diaz fight, Khan said that he only trains 20 weeks each year - during the fight camps only.
Should Khan be living in San Fran so that he can constantly work on technique with Virgil all the time. People figured out his flaws, he needs to spend the necessary times to fix them.
What's your take on this - is a total of 20 weeks a year enough time in the gym for a world class fighter? Should Khan be spending double that time in the gym for the next few years, not full on fight camps but working on technique and seriously addressing the mistakes he makes?
By training does he mean like perfecting his craft or just exercising?
that's what i mean.. he only trains during fight time.. he doesn't do any work on his technique in-between fights, instead he chills in the UK thousands of miles away from his trainer.. thats all wrong and he's paying the price

He doesnt seem like a hard worker. It shows in his fights hes always winded.
Well the only reason he got koed by prescott and garcia was because he was recovering from ramadan so he was still weak.
But its ok he uses xylocaine in his new v2.2 chin we shouldnt see him suffer anymore
khan and mark breland are the same person. difference is that mark never became a millionaire, furthermore 'world-class' and 'khan' shouldn't be in the same sentence.
I'm sorry, but anyone who has wins over Judah, Maidana, Kotelnik, Malignaggi, a razor thin loss to Peterson (which many including myself thought he won), is WORLD CLASS. He is a two time world champion, and might I add that most of the above wins were emphatic and dominant.

Well its not enough to fix his bad habits. Floyd runs every day I assume. I don't think he spars always, but he stays in relatively good shape.
He does not even have to train at all. He is born-boxer, his geniousity is beyond our comprehensition. To date, he beat all of his opponents, and will beat more.
No its not enough. But khan says he trains inhumanly hard. So whats inhumanly hard for one man is easy for another man.
I betcha Floyd trains 40 weeks a year.
