It felt like I was watching a Wladimir Klitschko fight. Mayweather showed absolutely no inside game for Guerrero other than holding and sqeezing his head trying to wear him out, yet his fans are totally oblivious to this fact. Plus he was holding Guerrero's arm most of the night. Boring stuff.
Really cuz? That's just sad.
My bad I meant he only held in a majority in two sections of the fight. Mid rounds he beat the **** outta Guerrero.
Besides that I believe Mayweather threw more power shots than Guerrero too, lol.
I see the boxing idiots are at at again , go watch Ali and how he boxes their ears of and ties them up when they try to maul him him like a wrestler , its been done in boxing forever , if your strong enough and good enough you cant be held and tied up , the kid haters need to learn the finer points of boxing because they come across as real ignorant to the sport .
This is the most pointless thread ever, Floyd did not hold all night.. idk what fight yall were watching, but Floyd landed atleast 2x as many right hands as he did hold and for 3-4 simultaneous rounds in two sections of the fight he held maybe only 2 times..
Really cuz? That's just sad.
When Floyd fights he has a one track mind, and that is to not let his opponent hurt him. Its not about hurting his opponents as Floyd hasnt got the firepower to really do too much hurting.
Floyd is the one who grapples, to try and make it tricky for his opponents to let their hands go, but he accuses his opponents of doing the grappling to take the heat off of him.

He could get his ass beat for 12 rounds and win a decision and his fans would say he did a master job.
But Last night he did better than I expected so I give him props.
Unless Guerrero just did worse than I expected lol

****ing same ole cry babies, lmao. Now Floyd clinches too much lmao! Guerrero and his dad talked about how they wouldn't use jabs and just walk right in. RG found out that Floyd is stronger and faster than he thought. Keep crying b*****s.
I remember this one guy, used to hold in the same manner, and Floyd stans talked so much crap about it, "that's not boxing . that's wrestling".
his name is Ricky Hatton.

Floyd is casting a dark shadow on the sport of boxing. This pot shot and clinch tactic is getting out of hand. Every young boxer is starting to do it.
I'm only twenty but I go back and watch fighters like Louis, Leonard, Robinson, Ali, Tyson, Hearns, and Liston sand say "Thats how my people use to fight"
Mayweather clinches more then a heavyweight. The name of the game should be to proof you're the better man, not the better pot shotter and clincher. That performance while good was very offensive to my intelligence. This guy talks loads of tough talk but the minute he steps in the ring he pot shots, holds, and claims he went for K.O. Fight on the inside and fight you're way out like a man.
Watching Leonard vs Haglar, when Leonard was caught on the ropes he'll fight his way out with a flurry, not clinch on for dear life.
The refs aren't doing anything about this blatant disregard for the rules. Floyd should just retire because at the end of the day he'll still be remembered as only the 2nd best fighter of his generation behind a true ATG and Hall of Famer.
Mayweather's holding was excessive. It's down to the referee to call it, warn him, then start deducting points. He didn't.
It's a bit likke some fighters like to "touch heads" before they start punching. Guerrero did it a few times and got warned. Nothing further.
You fight to the referees instructions.
When you find a fighter who will have enough guts to stay on top of Floyd for the whole 12 rounds, and walk through his shots to give one...let me know!
what does floyd do with his elbows and forehands?create seperation
Sneak in a way that the referee can't call it illegal, he uses it as part of his defence which prevents attacks from his opponents. You know everything goes most of the time in a boxing ring so I don't get the crying from fans here.
The same old sorry ass fans are now complaining about Floyd's clinching, lmmfao! Peep round 11. A whole lot of clinching huh?
Just face it, there is no Duran type style for Floyd today. And that style might not beat Floyd. Floyd-one of the smartest men to ever grace the ring!
Look we can all nit pick on floyd ok he grabbed to stop Guerrero on the inside but the only thing he is holding at the end of the fight is the Belts.
He is still unbeaten, and all the names that have been said including Alvarez (whom floyd will beat easily) will see him retire undefeated.
Manny pacquiao is the ONLY fighter that has a chance, and i say again chance.
Ill be honest a few years back i thought this will be it floyd is gonna finally get a slap and that was against Marquez, but floyd did something i never thought he could, he schooled him, you have to take your hat off to him, he really is the champ..
ps
dont anyone bother with Marquez beat manny, every fighter has his nemesis and for manny its Marquez.
Clinching is for bitches. I don't care what race you are.
Oh I agree, I only accept it if a guy is hurt BAD or something. In their case it's done thru out the entire fight. Even when their winning. Smh
hopefully someone will make a vid of how many times he clinches like the Ward vid
It was disgusting
Well it already exists in a way.
Personally i find these strategies "crafty" and i'm not upset about the use of them. It's up to the ref to penalize and they obviously does so very seldom.
