He was not exposed by Judah this was only his third fight going more than 10 rounds so that ayed a part. People forget that Danny was still developing when he got the Khan fight and that he still 25.
it was obvious zab's slickness and movement was gonna give danny trouble since danny isn't fast himself. but I knew danny would hurt him early if he landed enough on zab which he did. the fight went as expected for me except I thought danny would stop him late. props to zab though he landed enough to hurt danny late but danny proved he has a good chin.
It was a great fight. I think you saw a little vulnerability from Garcia in that fight but I don't think he was "exposed". It seems obvious that he has some growing to do before being considered a P4P top fighter but he has passed all of his tests so far.
"Exposed" is an overused word in boxing. I don't know about anybody else, but to me... "exposed" is when a hyped up fighter is suddenly discovered to have fatal flaws in his game. Usually after that, the fighter's career goes dramatically downhill.
Danny got hit often by Zab, but Zab was inspired and put on a remarkable performance. And Zab's handspeed has never been in doubt... so it was natural that he would connect on Garcia.
A telling moment in the fight was when Zab connected a beautiful left to Danny's face, only to have Danny shrug it off and connect his own right hand which sent Zab down. It said a couple of things. First, Danny's got a pretty good chin and presence of mind to counterpunch like that. Second, I thought it was a highly entertaining, competitive match, especially with Zab coming on at the end.
When you gas and get hurt by 2 fighters coming out of a retirement home then there's an issue. :lol1:

Still won though!
Peterson is gonna give Matthysse a tough fight, Danny does throw wide, Matthysse punches harder than the rest, Peterson actually is the sleeper in this whole 140 pound thing. I think people are sleeping on him and he might be the guy to beat all these dudes.
Imagine it now.. Danny Garcia being trained by Nacho Beristain..
On topic, he wasn't exposed at all, I feel like Danny gets better and better with every fight. He's an impressive kid with heart and the will to win. Not to mention he sticks to the gameplan very well. Him and his father are doing something right.
No one is using triangle theories to prove H2H matchups....
But if we're going to say Judah exposed Garcia, even though Garcia controlled 3/4 of the fight basically and won handily.....than did Judah expose Lucas when he beat him arguably and officially???
Exposed, duck, cherry pick: Words that are thrown around way too much on here.
Garcia was not exposed with anything. Just like you stated. In fact he showed more technicality than in previous fights. Also, this fight here taught me something too. Danny is more technically sound than Mattysse. And all these guys talking about Danny throwing wide, need to take a good look at Lucas.
Now while I've been a long time fan of Lucas, Danny's growing on me and I have a feeling he'll beat Lucas hth.
I love how quickly triangle theories are used when its in suits peoples agendas.
I suppose Khan beats Garcia and Matthysse because he beat Judah more convincingly than both right?

You gonna be real mad once Matthysse stomps PEDerson aren't you? Its ok bro, you'll still have Floyd to root for. :lol1:
PS Matthysse beat a much fresher Judah and not coming off of a 12 month layoff.

I'm not even a Peterson fan....."bro"
I do think Lucas beats Garcia based on styles, because Danny isn't too great going backward. But seriously, exposed??? He beat Judah handily 8 rounds to 4 and floored him, almost him out of there several times. Lucas arguably lost his fight to Judah and did lose it officially. So was Lucas exposed against Judah back then????

Why do Floyd flufflers hate Matthysse so much?
Look at them crying their hearts out trying to discredit him. I bet they're hoping and praying the steroid cheat beats him. :lol1:
So anybody trying to ride this ugly ass dudes nuts needs to get off the crack! Danny beat zab and has three wins that are better than anything this bum has done in his whole career.
factoring the guy's looks now cause he's perceived as a threat to your "man". that's how teenage girls behave GTFOH. :trink26:

Hurt is hurt, had that been a boxer who was able to take advantage, Garcia would have more than likely tasted the canvas.
Lucky for him Zab is very short, old and was very tired.
Boxers like Lucas and Petterson will go in for the kill, he needs to sort his defence out because sooner or later he will come up against someone who can bang and throw combs
You mean how Lucas finished off and stopped Judah n Alexander right?? Yea.stop it.
Matthyse couldn't even beat judah!

H wasn't Judah or khan hurt is what I meant he got caught n new how to compose himself wich is what impressed me from a young guy like him.....every fighter has areas to improve don't they....

He was hurt and admitted it himself
Its just Judha was to small and tired to take advantage while Dannys eyes looked glazed and his arms were out and punching thin air

When did Judah hurt him???? He took some shots from Judah and held his own...... Don't think he was ever "hurt"

What we saw last night is flaws in Garcia, there is a gameplan out there to beat him, and Judah nearly had it towards the last few rounds.
I think whoever fights him next will look to see last nights fight and see what openings they can find
On the flipside Garcia needs to fix these issues
