Great analysis. Broner definitely takes it, but it would be a good fight. Wouldn't be surprised if Khan is faster than Broner, but Broner's speed and power combined is far greater than Khan's speed and power combined.

It's not just his chin. If it was, he'd get through low level opposition without getting wobbled on several occasions. It'd just be a concern against noted punchers and the elite level guys. Khan's defence is so bad that even journeymen get him into trouble. He fights like he's in the ams. He's never been taught a proper pro style, it may be too late honestly. But that chin is a freak of nature. I don't remember the last guy who has a chin that bad.

He has all those things going for him but the one thing that will end it all, all the fans, all the paydays, the fast hands etc. is his lack of a chin. It's not just his chin. You'd sometime's forget that Khan's still pretty young. Assuming he fights into his 30s, I wonder how his persona is going to change as he loses more and more fights. Even tonight the whole 'King' thing was cringeworthy, and how's he going to maintain that arrogance when he's clearly no longer a candidate for elite status. I think he could be a really entertaining fighter for a few years if we could all drop the pretence that he's destined for the top. Market him as an entertainer instead of a future great and you'd get a lot more people on board.

I think Khan will fight the loser of Peterson vs. Matthysse for either the IBF title or the interim WBC title. Broner should fight odd man out whether its Khan, Matthysse, Peterson or Garcia. Any of those 4 fights are good no matter who wins Pete vs. Luke.

Biz wise not smart. Broner isnt a name outside of those of us who follow boxing. Khan wants a title shot - and a big money fight.

Khan is gonna catch an L against Garcia/Matthysse/Peterson, so he might not even make it to a Broner match-up. After seeing Khan's face in the post-fight interview, he knows that he doesn't deserve Mayweather.

Assuming that Broner gets through Paulie, I don't see why this fight wouldn't be a possibility. I don't think it'll happen though cuz Khan seems hell-bent on a Garcia rematch. I dunno if it'll happen but its a very good fight imo. I think team Khan will be against the idea tho for obvious reasons. Broner has little to offer and they want a belt and a mayweather shot.
