Khabib is slow and mechanical. He holds the WBA belt. Khan can beat him with movement to a lopsided decision.
He isnt a big puncher, although he has heart and it technically solid.
I like Khabib Allakhverdiev and watch him fight when I can. But if Khan wants that belt, it's his best bet.
Khabib is not a light puncher at all. He has sneaky power like Holt and Taylor. These guys' power are not shown in their record. If Khan's team was going by KO percentage and pick Khabib, they would be in a world of trouble.
Never mind ducking power punchers and cherry-picking light hitters, Khan needs to make serious adjustments to his game if he wants to be among boxing's best. He is very predictable with his approach.
Sad but true, it seems like might it a little late for him to revamp his style. Sure, he can cherry-pick soft punchers and get away with it for a few fights, but to make his way back on top, you know he's going to have to fight an opponent with decent pop at some point, like a Garcia rematch.
Khabib beats Khan with TIMING! All it takes is patient with Khan, he is going to make a mistake and you will have a chance to either hurt him or knock him out
Khan Major Problem...HE DON'T HAVE DEFENSIVE REFLEXES, he gets caught with stuff he don't see coming...A LOT! All of his knock downs or knock outs was off of something he did not see coming and the reason why that happens? Is because he does everything TOO FAST OFFENSIVELY...all he want to do is come out and rattle off combos then step back and he just repeats that OVER AND OVER, Khan does the same stuff every fight and during the entire fight...he is not going to surprise you with anything NEW!
I wouldn't say Khabib was slow by any stretch & he certainly hits harder than his record suggests.
Very risky fight for Khan.
bro, i just like how you refer to khabib allakhverdiev on a first name basis
khan's at risk in all of his fights against world level opposition. that chin is available in spots, and not strong.
KA is quite slow relative to Khan. They are both brothers - so from that perspective, I dont have a 'fave' so to speak. But I see this as the most rational way for him to pick up a belt.
He can dance for 12 and get a UD.
