So what's the verdict on how Khan has improved or regressed.. would he have handled Diaz easier if he was with Roach or would he have been knocked out?
Hunter said Khan reacted the right way when he was hurt this time - instead of rushing in trying to even up the score he held on, survived and regrouped. But, was he as effective from an offensive standpoint? Was he as in good shape as when Ariza was his strength and conditioner? And what about his defense - better, worse or the same?
How do you think that fight would have played out if Khan was still with Roach?
Very possible, but it's also possible that'd have discouraged and done a lot more damage to Diaz earlier, instead of walking around posing like a strategic fighter that he clearly isn't.
Khan doesn't really do damage though, that's kind of his problem. If he had Pacquiao power he would be phenomenal but for the most part it's pitty-patty. That's one of the reasons he gets caught on the counter so much, his punches don't hurt his opponents.
Cant judge a new trainer after 1 fight. Breaking habits takes time. Khan should just dance and jab, dance and jab to decisions. He has ok power - but cant take a fly landing on his chin.
It was the second fight with Hunter - first fight was against Carlos Molina if I remember right.
Khan actually regressed imo. Doesn't help that Virgil is a garbage trainer.
no he didnt under Freddie he would be worst he would have fougth back and got knock the fock out

You're right, thank god he's had 2 fights, we can all say how **** he is without worrying that he didn't get a fair shake. Virgil Hunter = Garbage, telling Khan he's proud of him after Khan has been rocked 2 rounds in a row, he couldn't think of anything more useful? LOL
Depends on if it were before or after the Garcia fight
After the Garcia fight, he would have been KO'd
Before the Garcia fight he would have won
Hunter has made Khan more cautious, never have seen Khan grab and hold, normally he would have traded
at the same time his offense isn't what it use to be, he's scared to go in for the kill, it's like he is repressing his killer instinct
He hasn't found the balance, he's gone from one extreme to the next
