I got a newfound respect for Zab Judah for calling Oscar out face to face

LOL @ all the Oscar hate. So what he wore stockings, so what he fuked chicks and did drugs. At least he was man enough to come clean and admit he was wrong and was a human. Unlike a lot of hypocrites living their lives out of the public eye. He wasn't shook, he looked Zab right in the face but he handled it like a pro. He understood he needed to let the loud mouth talk and be the bigger man about it. You show up with 30 people at some press conference and have a serious altercation, it could end the fight that is set and paid for. Oscar is a legend in the game, the hatred for him is ridiculous and comes from uninformed fan boys that don't know the first thing about the boxing business. You think Oscar is sneaky because he said something on twitter? Why don't you check Bob Arums record or Don Kings for that matter. They were more than sneaky, they were down right backstabbing evil mother fukers.

Zab called Oscar out exactly for that! He said Oscar is a promoter and he was not acting professional. Fighters will talk smack to each other that helps sell fights, but Oscar crossed the line as a promoter, he was promoting both guys. It wasn't like Zab was a Top Rank guy. So you would let your boss ABUSE you and treat you like crap and talk smack to you and show favorites behind your back and than deleting the tweets and acting like Zab was the bad guy when it was Angel Garcia instigating everything from the get go? Did you see what Zab did? he even told B hop if you did the same thing that Oscar did to me I would call you on it too. Its about respect and Oscar was laughing and giggling on twitter taking shots at Zab Judah. Zab had nothing but respect for Oscar, Oscar stupid not to stay neutral. He broke that code of respect here. Its between fighters and he should have left it at that and promoted. Read my post, you don't handle unprofessional behavior by acting unprofessional. Bernard at the weigh in just said he and Oscar had nothing to do with that situation. Oscar shouldn't have tweeted anything but Zab, as a 35 year old 17 year professional should have gathered the facts and handled it like a man, not a child. I have had situations like this happen to me professionally. I handled it like a real man. I took the person responsible off to the side, got their side, let them know where they were wrong and let them apologize and make the corrections. Zab is not an up and comer but he is not in a position to be calling the shots. He is the #9 ranked guy in the division. He had no stake to a title shot and should be grateful that he got one in his hometown no less. Calling out Oscar just makes him look like a fool. Only kids react that way and only the immature ones applaud this type of behavior. I don't care if its boxing or any other profession, handle your business like a man and your will earn your respect, not just demand it like a child.

I remember Trout complaining about his family and friends locked out of the weigh in for the Cotto fight. And if I'm not mistaken GBP did that to Malignaggi, too, during the weigh in for his bout against Khan. I remember that too, but Zab is the only one to confront them. GBP does people dirty. They also made Trout ride coach and pay for a lot of his travel fees.

While I agree that Oscar and Golden Boy was out of line, you have to handle it like a professional. Its great to say that he should have called him out but he should be grateful he is even here this weekend. Most guys with his track record would have been cast aside by now. Oscar is essentially his boss, you don't come to your boss like that. In my profession I started at the bottom out of college and now I call a lot of the shots. I didn't get here by blowing up my superiors when they may have been out of line. Doesn't mean you have to bow down but there is a time and a place to handle those things. How is Judah going to feel after he gets sparked and Golden Boy decides not to do business with him again? He's been in the business for a long time and got this shot because he still has a name (worth more than his current state). I would say he was really disrespected and decided to approach the guy who did it and rectify the situation. Look at Trout, family left out of Cotto weigh in and then flown coach while canelo gets first class, but he loses so him just keeping quiet doesn't do **** for him. Fans appreciate his classiness and style but don't bet on him getting another shot unless promoters have absolutely no choice. How he carries himself does very little in their books, hell they keep Angel Garcia around and he's scum.
