Hard fight to call this one. If Abril wins this he should have wins over Prescott, Lundy, Acosta, Bogere, Rios & Vazquez. Hell of a resume for a guy going to in only his 22nd/23rd fight. Respect to both guys, whilst many don't find them enjoyable you can't fault their willingness to take on the best/anybody. Take note Ricky Burns & Adrien Broner.

i would love to see the figh.why do people complain so much about boxers who don't just come forward and have good defense.

Apparently Steve Kim was being sarcastic, which I find odd considering he's pretty much on top of reporting confirmed fights and things related to boxing. So disregard thread, they are not fighting. If they did I got Vazquez UD though.

Not sure if this is a true or not, but eitherway I have to say despite the fact that I'm a Vasquez supporter thru n thru, this will be one hell of a boring ass fight.

Doubt it'll top Alexader-Bailey. If that's the case then I'll ask a mod to delete it. But I'm not entirely sure yet. It's a good fight, two guys that Broner didn't want to fight. Plus purist technical boxing fans should love this fight shouldn't they? i agree i like the fight, should be interesting. i just found funny that he broke the news since he was the one that was joking about that fight non-stop. The thing that concerns me the most about the post is that the fight is sept wharever you said isnt that a date where they usually do pay per views with a big mexican star? if so... then it makes sense to me why he would mention abril vs vazques to clown the people that have been asking who will fight that day, chavez jr. canelo , maywether, marquez etc

Not surprised, Abril takes on anyone. This will be a very close, competitive fight, it probably won't be the type of fight casual fans appreciate.
