The smushface left forearm by Fury on @USSCunningham while Fury threw the finishing right was a foul, not a legal combo

"@jkidd154champ: @usscunningham I would file an official protest. I know you trainer wants that too."sure does
Was it a legal punch?
It did seem borderline illegal but like the others said. what happened with the Troy Ross Rematch? who USS conveniently avoided cos he was getting his ass handed to him by one of the unsung heroes of that division. Also whoever it was who said USS weren't hurt was wrong were you not looking at the screen when that body shot by fury made USS squirm leading up to the KO? He was a sitting duck towards the last rounds and it was a matter of time before he was taken out!
More butthurt from them.
I find it kinda odd how forearms, pushing, headbutting, excessive clinching etc doesn't seem to be a problem when guys like Alexander, Ward, Hopkins, Mayweather do it, but when Fury does it it's a red flag?
USS got planked, he got Fury'd. Deal with it and move on kid.
it was definitely a bit of a pikey side action. not really a "boxing move." if the ref called him on it i wouldn't complain.
i've never seen anything like that, certainly not leading to that much damage
still, a break was not called. cunningham's got to protect himself.
You cant appeal that ko. If there was something wrong it was up to the ref to note it on the night, and he didnt. Steves team didnt appeal it or protest right after the fght in the ring.
Floyd puts his elbows up like that all the time, but just cos he has no power is allowed to get away with it.?
That fight was one way traffic after the 4th and was only ever going to end with Cunningham either getting laid out or pulled out.
I knew Tyson would just walk the smaller man down if it turned out he was getting outboxed which he was and Cunningham was getting full leverage on his shots. He put his weight all over him and just picked his hands up and mauled him and pushed him backwards all fight long after that. He done exactly the same thing to Chisora.
What is the best case scenario for Cunningham? The fight gets ruled a NC and he avoids Tyson Fury.
The way that fight turned around I can't imagine Tyson having much trouble in a rematch. He'd probably KO him quicker.
I thought this when I first saw the knockdown to be fair, looked like Fury held him against the ropes and smashed him.
Nothing will happen from it though.
Really, are you sure about that? All of those right hands Cunningham took while barely getting stunned with one, he never seemed in trouble. Then all of a sudden, coincidentally the one that put him down was the one that happened during a foul.
I mean you are right, the KO was coming regardless, with all of those dirty tricks Fury was doing, like leaning, pushing, punching off the break .
Whatever man, if he fights Wlad or any legit HW, he gets ass knocked out.
Don't care for Fury but Cunningham was gassed and legs were weak. The size of Fury was starting to show. The sloppy punches by Fury do damage cause of weight....he was gonna stop Cunningham eventually.
Lame. Cunningham was done and eventually the knock out was coming regardless.

Where was the rematch for Ross who you thumbed him in the eye after he dropped you and was winning the fight? USS is happy to take his vacant title and go home after retaining it via fouls and not giving people deserved rematches but whines anytime something boarderline happen to him.
First time I watched the knockdowns. Firstly, whatever dumb ass that said Fury wasn't hurt by the right hand that put him down needs to get their eyes checked. Secondly, that **** was dirty as hell. He held his face up with the left forearm and then hit him. How is that not dirty???
Sour grapes or not, that knockout clearly came during an illegal foul
Will anything come of this? Of course not, they never are. If Soto's DQ loss to Lorenzo wasnt overturned, things like this wont be as well
It was really dirty. I can't pretend to be sure how legal it was.
It's clear as day. Fury held Cunningham's face back with his elbow, and while he had it held back with Cunningham's chin forcefully exposed, he threw the punch. He had also illegally shoved him right before.
Some serious sour grapes. Hatton should have appealed the Mayweather knockout, he was taking elbows to the face and throat all freaking night.
Didn't lead directly to the KO punch. If he was shoving his elbow in Ricky's face before the left that put him down landed then he would have had a argument.
Ricky himself is also a very dirty fighter.
Can you hit a fighter in the balls then KO them with a uppercut?
Fury is a dirty ass fighter who was getting beat by a small Cruiserweight. Cunningham took all of his punches and most he ever did was get stunned, Fury didn't take Cunningam's punches very well, including that KD.

Fury clearly shoved Cunningham's face with his elbow and simultaneously threw the KO punch.
