What does an "either way" fight do for your legacy?

Depends on what they do from here. If Trout disappears, it does nothing for Alvarez. If Trout remains a force, then it looks much better.

Obviously in referral to Trout/Canelo. How will people look back on it do you think? Pac-Marquez 1 2 and 3 were either way fights too, yet it seems the majority of people here regard them as Marquez clear wins for some reason. Hopkins-Calzaghe is a fight where neither fighter seems to get any credit for it. How do you think this fight will be remembered? Will Canelo be seen to have just scraped that win? Will Trout be remembered for giving Canelo a competitive fight more so than a loss? It still to a degree shows that a fighter can compete at that level
