Canelo and Floyd?

Now I would like to start off by saying I thought Trout would win yesterday. But Canelo surprised me with his ability to evade punches. No one expected that. With that said the fight could have gone either way. One guy threw alot of punches landed more but didn't land anything meaningful while the other guy threw less punches landed less but with more force. I have no problem with either guy winning but to be fair I had canelo winning off one point due to the knock down. But with that said lets be real only reason people think Canelo stands a chance with Floyd is because he weighs 22 pounds more than him on fight night. If they were equal in weight everyone would call it a cherry pick. So even though the hate is strong guys are really complimenting Floyd by basically saying your so good you have to fight bigger guys. Last I checked lucas matthysse weighed more than Floyd his last fight who fights at 140. I know Floyd has won a belt there but honestly he really has no business fighting at that weight, he really is just that good. Manny has a belt in the same weight class but no one wants him fighting there but yet on fight night him and Floyd weigh the same. What gives?

Canelo is actually pretty good.... his timing, power, and ring IQ is pretty good. His main problem is he fights in spurts and needs to plant his feet to really generate power. He reminds me of Cloud.

no floyd would beat the ginger even if the ginger has the size advantage come on guy, mosley said the ginger hits as hard as floyd.... the size won't matter cause skills pay bills this is an easy fight for floyd... why fl.omos so shook for? The people who don't want to see this fight respect Canelo to much. Honestly I want to see Floyd next fight, if he doesn't look old over night I'm down all way. I just don't want an instance were a guy wins because the other guy old it's almost an insult like to the game. Like Guerrero saying Floyd s legs are slow now and this is the perfect time to get him is almost like him saying hey I ain't that good so I had to wait until this guy was old to have a shot, he basically said that, which is sad. I just honestly feel floyd never belonged at that weight he only had success there because he really is that good. Similar to Manny when he fought Marg, he only won because he was the much better guy, but paid the price when Marg tagged him to the body that one time he landed.

I pretty much agree with what you say but Manny gets no credits for beating Cotto at 145, that's not a weight class. True but Cotto was dumb to except that fight being the champ and all.... I would have said "hey... you want to fight, it's at 147 or nothing. But 145 is different than what he did to Oscar that was a real drain cotto was only 2 pounds even though with my experience in the ring I can say 2 pounds can make a difference. But that's on Cotto.

flo.mos are so f.uc.kin stupid.... what ever happened to "floyd would beat anyone from 154 lbs to 140 lbs"? Why does this ginger have fl.omos so shook? Lets have a serious conversation for once. Lets be real do you really think Canelo is more skilled than Floyd? and could beat floyd if they were equal in size? be honest with yourself. Only chance Canelo has is power and size and I like the kid.

Well, Pacquaio did just get KO'd and no one is calling him the P4P king anymore. No one would be okay with the Alvarado fight if Manny had just KO'd JMM. Honestly I think Manny can fight anyone and people will be ok with it, think about it, he fought Hatton after Floyd ko'd him people made it a big deal, he fought, Shane after Floyd embarrassed him, people made it out to be a big deal, he fight Marg who just got catch with wraps and people made it to be a big deal, An just imagine if manny had fought ortiz or was fighting Guerrero now do you honestly think people would say he was cherry picking like they say about Floyd? I doubt it. I ain't hating but honestly only great win he has at ww to me is cotto. I'm sorry but cotto get no excuses from me, Manny beat the brakes off him.

You have a legit argument, Manny is in the guinness record book because of the belt he won at 150 that his fans think is somehow the 154 belt, I do think it's unfair that Floyd and Pacquiao are both called p4p guys by there fans but fans are like hey Mayweather you go fight Canelo and Pacquiao you go fight Alvarado, Floyd gets unfair criticism saying he should fight Canelo isn't one. Yea it's bs I think they both are pfp in there own right but neither guy really should be fighting at 154, only reason Floyd has a chance is because he is more defensive, and very accurate. Manny on the other hand is/was very fast and has heavy hands.
