Are you trying to lie to yourself? Let's face it, Canelo has been KOing smaller guys and downing Trout is not that big of a deal considering he's been down in the amateurs. Wanna explain to me why Canelo was so tenative after the KD?

It´s not like Trout was a sitting duck after the kd either. Canelo is experienced, got the round in the pocket and took a much needed break. And putting Trout in the canvas with that hand is a nice deal considering the huge bombs he was able to take from Cotto.
Rumor got started around here that Lara doesn't "do well vs pressure" and that COULD be what GB is looking for. Let's face it, GB benefits more from Canelo vs Angulo than Lara.

Yup... because that's smart.
Honestly, I hope that's their intent
yah i can't see it happening either...he'll probably fight cotto next even though cotto lost his last two fights, but it'll do big money which is all that matters to GBP. much rather see canelo face the winner of angulo vs lara next...
I say the same...

I saw some of the press row scores and then was scratching my head at how different opinions on the fight were on here. Comparing the press row scores as well as what general consensus of posters on other boxing sites was, it really proved to me that this place has become the crappiest of the "big" boxing forums. NSB is just one giant anti-Floyd/anti-black circle jerk all the f*cking time now. The last month or two is the worst it has been since before the new moderation.

He just does his job, to win rounds or ko guys if possible. He just didn´t want to burn more energy, he is an experienced fighter.

Trout didn't hurt Canelo at all with his feather fisted jab. Canelo was toying with this fool and Trout knew it that's why he was so defeated after the fight. The Canelo era has begun, his haters know it and it makes them angry.
austin trout wants a rematch...i had canelo winning by 1 point due to the KD.. but could also see it being a draw..fight was very close and in no way did either guy win this fight clearly.

Rematch is a waste of time, Canelo figured him out since round 2.

We dunno what goes behind closed curtains bud. Who knows why Trout didn't ask for a rematch clause. Maybe he did but guess who the money guys are in the end?

He probably did, but was seen as a roadblock.
You got to think on Canelo's team. Why offer this guy a rematch if we get the W?
Only way to get one is it be so controversial that there has to be one

Wtf does Trout accepting a bad deal have to do with Canelo.
Way to many emotional fans here. Have watched this fight 2 times already. Most of Trouts offense stopped by Canelos head movement. You guys want to give credit to Trout because he threw tons of combos and jobs and landed almost none. When Trout had Canelo on the ropes, he couldn't not land anything because of Canelos head movement which shocked the **** of of me. Canelo played around with Trout in the middle of the ring.
What caught my eye was how tired Canelo was looking at later rounds.. He needs to work on the stamina some. Trout did not look impressive at all. For those saying Canelo didn't either don't know ****. For months all we heard is how trout would outbox Canelo and how Canelo had no defense or folds under volume punches. Well Canelo proved the nay Sayers wrong. Good fight Trout underestimated Canelo plain and simple.

lol those ring magaine guys all had it for trout they gettin fired soon
They're probably told to submit a score like that just so the Ring can try and grasp on to any integrity they have left.
