I'm not surprised. Maybe you scored the fight the way you thought it would go?
Or maybe your hatred for Canelo distorted the view of the fight?(yeah he's 22 and has a huge casual boxing fan base for a boxer that has been "babied" his whole carreer.)
There is no one to blame but Trout. He knew what he had gotten himself into,by fighting a "Future Boxing Superstar" and instead of being aggressive,he took the safe route, knowing that would cost him the fight.
I'm sorry but Canelo landed the harder, more crisp shots, all while slipping Trouts offense(of which more than half was pitty pat jabs). The lone WBA Judge, who was supposed to be more considerate of Trout had Canelo winning by 10rds!
I had them winning 6 rounds a piece.... Trout pretty much won every round Canelo gave away. The difference in the fight for me was the KD.
Don't get me wrong... trout was missing allllll night but when you are the only throwing in the round u have to win it lol.
Canelo defiantly won. Haters need to wake up and smell the tortillas. Lol I do think though the open scoring influenced the fight for both. Canelo took it a little easy and Trout got a little reckless but I'm good with the result. Closer fight though then the judges had it.
I had it a draw, and tbh Trout's activity and Alvarez lack there of was the reason I scored it that way..But no harm or foul for Alvarez getting the nod..But the scorecards I heard had me baffled tbh..
