Fury did very well, he showed he can overcome adversity and utilize his strengths in a fight like vs Cunningham. He still has a lot of work to do in terms of polishing his craft and become a more complete fighter, but he made a great performance tonight. A fight vs Pulev will be a proper test for him. I think Pulev will beat Fury though, Pulev is a big guy himself and a BOXER, Fury will be in real trouble and I believe Pulev would stop Fury in all honesty. What are your thoughts on Fury after tonight, how far can he go? Regardless, I'd love to see Fury vs Wladimir, as it would be a great fight for Wlad.
Trying to talk sense into LacedUp is like banging your head off a concrete wall.
What a fool you are.
I never thought I would come down to your level, and I certainly never thought i'd be defending Harrison.
But all the while, you still haven't given me any reason as to why Mormeck was more deserved of his shot against Wlad than Harrison's shot at Haye. Keep dodging.
Tyson looked terrible. He was knocked down and hurt against a cruiser weight, then held him against the ropes with an illegal elbow and then hit him with a looping right hand that dropped him.
Tyson Fury is really smart in doing his acting and talking bit because that's the only thing that will make him a viable candidate at HW. That and the fact the division is terrible.
He looks like a back yard street brawler at best. He's lucky he's 6'9" because that's the only thing going for him right now. A fight between him and one of the Klitchkos would be murder, I would fear for his health.
He fought a good fight, he won, Cunningham had nothing, just admit it.

Haha you're such a tool it's untrue.
He would probably do to him what he did to Mormeck. I've never seen him go for the kill early, so why would he do so against Audley? A bigger and stronger guy than Mormeck.
Do you even lift?
show be a good fight but i think he may go the WBC route & not the IBF route...either way it's arreola or pulev next...stiverne isn't in the picture since he will be crushed...
Yes Mormeck, a former cruiserweight champion, is better than the never has been, Audley Harrison. If you don't understand that, you don't understand much about boxing.
Just imagine what Klitschko would do to Audley?

Here's the replay for those of you interested. Fury sings in the end.
I missed the fight but i noticed after just watching Tyson leaves his lead hand far to hip, which is not a good thing if he where to fight a taller figher.
I think Wilder needs to fight Fury, both a huge guys and both show improvement. Though a bit different with Wilder who knocks out every opponent.
Here's a link you fool: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-2052888/Wladimir-Klitschko-Jean-Marc-Mormeck-fights-like-Mike-Tyson.html
Like I said, clearly out taken out of context.
'I would compare him with Mike Tyson; he is never going backwards like David Haye (did),' added Klitschko, who is expected to bring a 15-kilogram advantage into the ring.
I know you are not smart enough to understand this, but he is talking about the style, i.e. that he will come forward. He isn't saying that he is a fighter on par with Tyson. He is using what is called an analogy to refer to the style he expects.
Now go take a nap.
Haha. Mormeck a career CW that hadn't fought in 2 years is better than Audley Harrison a European champion who KO'd his opponent cold in the last round? That's the funniest thing i've ever heard.

Lets say he does, are you willing to put up all your points?
No.
I wasn't being serious when I said Fury beats Haye. I'm quite sure Haye would knock him out, but Haye still wouldn't risk it. Isn't it a shame that a guy like Haye has no balls, when he could beat most contenders? He should be knocking out guys, but he's just sitting around thinking he's Floyd Mayweather. What a douche.
Your first small paragraph in the above quoted text says a lot...
The fighters of this era aren't ready for champions yet or have already been dealt with one of the brothers, unlikely to test Wlad after receiving a beating from Vitali and vice versa. Wlad is never going to fight his friend & trainer in Jonathan Banks.
As I have mentioned previously, the division is not as strong as it should be thus the reason why Wlad is fighting weaker opponents. Pianeta is indeed a joke of an opponent, but if it's the only fight Wlad can get than so be it. It's easy to see he should fight him, him & him but who says they're willing to fight Wlad?
There is no previous era, we're still in the Klitschko era and will be until Wlad is de-throned. There are no fighters that have been relevant for 2 years that Wlad or Vitali haven't fought, apart from Povetkin.
So what you're saying is that you think Pianeta is the best available choice for Wlad?
This might be a part of the klitschko reign, but a new era has begun.
The previous era consisted of Ibragimov, Chambers, Johnson, Gomez, Peter and the likes.
New era with Pulev, Povetkin, Fury, Haye, Price, Helenius etc. So because the division is weak it is OK for Wlad to find even weaker opponents than the ones actually ranked?
That doesn't make any sense. Whether you like it or not, Wlad could have chosen far better opponents than he has for the last 2 years.
First off, I don't 'hate' any boxer. Secondly, I cannot stand watching Wlad or Vitali, let alone being a fan of theirs. No, it's not alright for the European champion to get a title shot unless he's beaten contenders. Maybe in 1930 when the belt actually meant something, but nowadays? No.
I cannot believe I've found someone who's defending Haye-Harrison, never thought I'd see it. You call me a nuthugger (even of fighters I don't even enjoy watching, let alone supporting), yet you're the one sporting the Haye avatar and he can do no wrong in your eyes.
I recall you telling me to '...blame Audley' for his fight against Haye, when at the end of the day, Haye is the one who could make or break that fight. Your reasoning for Harrison being a credible opponent is that he was a European champion and knocked out Michael Sprott in the last, despite being down on all the cards. A fact you like to look over.
Your ignorance pains me, Wlad has fought much better opposition than Haye & Thompson in the past several years of his reign. You list opponents who are either too green and would be considered cherrypicks or those who aren't willing to step in the ring with him.
I'm actually astounded at some of the drivel you're coming out with, It's amazing...
- You're banging on about the current top 15 heavyweight fighters, are you that fucking dumb to not realise the previous years?
- You're defending a fighter, who was European champion at best! Where as Mormeck, even at his worse, was still beating good heavyweight fighters.
- Your assumptions are ridiculous. Klitschko fan? (...let alone nuthugger), 'stay busy' fight?
Wlad's options are limited, but still his resume is far superior to that of Haye's at heavyweight. Haye was also a heavyweight champion who should've been fighting the best out there. Instead, he talked himself into a title shot, beat a freak from the circus. Defended it against John fuckin' Ruiz, then Harrison in the mega-showdown.
He became a world champion without even beating a contender and never even defended it against one either.
What are you talking about? Where have I said Harrison deserved his shot against Haye? I have never said that. What I have said is that he certainly deserved it more than Mormeck did.
Who cares if he was down on all cards? He pulled out the win when he had to. This is boxing ffs. If you KO someone cold in the last round, you deserve the win. Down on the cards or not.
I agree he has fought better opponents. And he cleaned out the last era - but to say he has cleaned out this era is not true. He hasn't fought anyone of the current crop of contenders other than Haye. that's not cleaning out.
Wow - So anyone in the current top 15 is now either too green or would be considered cherrypicks? You're making me laugh with your ignorance.
No one would have said a thing had he chosen Pulev, Fury or someone like Banks for his next bout. However, he chose Pianeta! How is that in any way better? And mind you this comes on the back of fighting guys like mormeck, wach and thompson. Something you completely overlook-
Once again, I'm not defending Harrison as a choice, it was a miss match from the beginning. What I have said is that I understand the fight was made due to, as you mentioned, it was a £10m fight. Haye knew what would happen, and unlike what you claim, has never built up Harrison to be anything other than someone he would KO when he would choose to. Which he did.
I couldn't care less if you like either of the K bros. You say 'they' are cleaning up - that's not Wlad himself.
And his dominance in the previous era doesn't automatically transcend into this era. He has certainly not cleaned out this division by any stretch of the imagination and whether you think they are too green, wouldn't want to fight him or would be considered a cherrypick is besides the point. He still hasn't fought them.
And just to make it clear, because I like Haye's style of fighting doesn't mean I can't criticize him when I need to.
For example when he fought Wlad and Harrison I gave him a lot of stick. I have stood up for him when people (Wlad fans) say he ran, as an excuse for him not being KOd. He didn't run at all in that fight.
This posts makes me cringe...
You're selling Harrison's credibility on the fact he KOed Sprott cold when they last met? Despite the fact he was losing on all the cards to Michael fuckin' Sprott.
At least when Mormeck stepped up to heavyweight he fought some decent names, fighters who have achieved far more than what Harrison has and ever will.
At the end of the day, Haye fans cannot really comment on another fighter's opponents.
You then go on to try and discredit Nod's statement by saying only TT & Haye are in the current top 15, as if Wlad's only started fighting this year. Between him and his brother, they've been cleaning out the division since they became champs.
No i'm not selling Harrison's credibility at all. I was against that fight. However, to say that Mormeck deserves a shot at the HW crown more than Harrison just makes me laugh. The fact that you back it makes me laugh out even louder, because your hatred for Haye comes out again.
Like it or not, Harrison was a European champion. It's not unlikely for the European champion to get a shot at the HW title. Now, it's very unlikely and undeserved for a former CW king who hasn't fought in two years and was past his best when he was knocked out by Haye all those years ago. It's the worst cherry pick in the last 20 years.
Typical nuthugger response bringing his brother up. As if they are the same person. I didn't say Wlad just started fighting now did I? No. I said, he's hardly "cleaned up" the division when he only has 2 wins over the top 15.
Has he fought Arreola, Fury, Pulev, Povetkin, Adamek, Stiverne, Helenius, Banks, Chisora, Boytsov, Glazkov, Mitchell, Scott or Solis? NO he has not. I don't care who his brother has or has not fought, they are two different fighters.
I'm entitled to criticize his choice of opponents as much as you or anyone else is. Fact is, he is HW champion and he should be fighting the best out there. He simply is not. And don't start all that "it's a stay-busy fight" it's making you look like a fool.
Whatever.. Haye would never fight a young gun like Fury. He's chicken ****.
he already fought Wlad, so you really shouldn't post idiot posts like that.
Nor should you make worse by following up that idiot post with a baseless failed ' I owned you', or you make yourself look like a little Marussia F1 driver, going round in circles all day but not making one point all year.
Why would I bet that fight when I agree Pulev wins? You're the one who said Fury would "pummel Haye into retirement". If you really believed that you would take the bet. Obviously you don't and know Haye would knock him out, right? Time to put up or shut up my man! :lol1:
