Personally I had Trout winning, he threw way more and I'd say had better control of the fight... although it was close and neither guy looked great. I screwed up my scores somehow I think because of my messy writing but I think I ad it 115-112 for Trout. Although I know it was close, but to me, trout should have edged it or atleast a draw. What do you guys think?
I had it 115-112 for Trout but several rounds were extremely close, a typical volume vs quality fight I thought. Wouldn't have any issue with a close decision for Canelo.
Fully merits a rematch but if it's in Texas again then what's the point.
wow man....maybe cuz I was present at the fight and didn't see the action clearly cuz I was closer to heavens then the fight....but I thought trout ran away with that fight easy man....yes canelo scored the knockdown and a handful of hard punches but he got worked n outworked easily in myeyes....ill have to watch it again but as of now I got it 9 rounds to 3 for trout smh at them judges .
you were there man? How was it, the atmosphere must have been insane
Trout 114-113 but no argument about the outcome. Canelo landed the better shots even if Trout was far busier. I think round 4 determines who won the fight (ignoring the ridiculous judge scorecards). I gave it to Trout, but I didn't feel sure about it at all.
I had Trout winning comfortably. Its pointless making a poll though seeing there are so many bias Canelo supporters pretending they had their guy winning by a ridiculous margin. The same people are the ones who cry and moan on a regular basis about corrupt referees and judges, hypocrites.
There was a round you may recall where Canelo literally didn't throw a single punch (sounds like just about every round huh?) and Trout was battering him to the body continually and dominated the round - Most the forum miraculously gave this to Canelo!
I'm a total neutral, I didn't care who won or have a prediction for this fight but I had Trout winning that and pretty handily too.
there were almost no rounds / sections of any rounds where somebody was dominant.
dominant?
you were watching the wrong fight.
Trout ran him over.....................yet he lost the fight? guess Trout should have stepped on the gas like he said he would do if the fight was close then huh? I thought it was up to Canelo's chin as to whether Trout won by KO or UD? Sounds like some Trout's eating some crow today.
Trout won for me :( i had canelo only winning rounds 2, 7, 9, 11.
round 1 was pretty close to call but Trout's jab was the only one functioning in there.
Trout missed a lot thats for sure, but canelo missed a lot also but landed the crispier shots. in numbers they are just more or less to trout's but trout outwork him imo.
Any poll with Canelo's name in it will always end up against him because of all of the angry Flowmosexuals who want Canelo to lose so Floyd doesn't have to fight him. I could see that as true lol
I had Trout winning by 4 points. The poll is pretty meaningless IMO, since there's a big nationalistic bias toward Canelo.
Yeah lol I agree on the big Bias there is
As people needed to be reminded after Cotto-Trout; the competitiveness of the fight doesn't have to be reflected on the scorecards. Each round should be looked at as it's own fight.
I like both guys and I'm not Mexican or Black. I could only give Trout 3, mayyybbee four rounds. The rounds were close, but they were damn near all Canelos. Trout was throwing all day and missing, Canelo was landing big, authoritative shots when he did open up.
Trout but I see no controversy here. There was a ton of close rounds and Canelo landed all the telling shots. Trout's accuracy is just horrid. I never want to watch another Trout fight (but I'm sure I will).
