Most experts or at least so called experts have trout as a clear winner against canelo. Most posters in this forum have trout winning and even knocking canelo out.
Not only that, don't forget canelo's haters who want to see his downfall and are praying for this. :D
Knowing all of this, is it clear to label canelo as the underdog tonight?
At the end of the day it is difficult to decide who the favourite is, forget the bookies because this one is about your personal opinion, I for one sees Canelo as the favourite and I see him knocking trout out, why? Because trout would take more chances in this fight due to wanting to take it away from the judges, this would play right into the hands of Canelo. Canelo might not have top notch opposition on his résumé but for me he really is coming into his own in terms of ring abilities. On the other hand Trout could try and box from the outside and win a UD but I fail to see that here.
Trout fought cotto @ MSG and didnt do any the things you mentioned. He outboxed Cotto and got the UD. Why would he do anything different against Canelo ?
We are coming off a YEAR a past 2 years full of upsets.
Ortiz vs Berto - upset
Guerrero vs Berto - upset
Rigo vs Doniare - upset
Ortiz vs Lopez - upset
Pacquiao vs Bradley - upset
Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 - upset
Rios vs Alvarado - upset
Peterson vs Khan - upset
Khan vs Garcia - upset
All these fighters that lost were favorites by experts or boxing fans...
Will Canelo Vs Trout be the same.
I think Canelo has the ability to step his game up when it's needed.
In regards to trout and his team being worried about the judges, let's be real and honest with ourselves. We know trout is an Al Haymon fighter and those guys rarely lose.

So he is the underdog?
I don't see how Canelo is the favorite in this fight. Trout has all the physical advantages and has actually been battle tested...Canelo
I think it's wishful thinking, I don't see how anyone thinks Canelo loses, maybe they are high off getting Rigo over Donaire right but it won't be the same, I'd be shocked if Canelo loses.
CMON man, any fighter has the ability to lose once they step in that ring. Everything is possible especially when it takes one punch to end a fight.
Canelo is the bookies favourite but that don't mean sh1t. In fact they have it as a toss up basically.
I'm trying to think back to when a clear favourite of a main event won actually. Viloria, Donaire, Rios all lost.
Bellew - Chilemba, Matthews - Crolla, Nietes - Fuentas, Chris John vs whoever he was fighting all ended in draws.
We know better than that, we aren't casual fans. We are here year round so we know what's up.
