They really need to keep him away from punchers, dude just got KO'd by a four fight fighter with 20oz gloves and head gear in sparring. Not a good look.
Who cares about this clown. He clearly punked out on facing Miguel Vaquez. Broner ain't crap and is not willing to face the best. He could have a least fought Ponce de Leon a second time to shut the critics up. This dude is a gimmick for entertainment only. Like Floyd said he a Ho and when he can't make 'em money they'll throw him aside and bring in the next B.
He can go far as long as he stays at 135 for a few more years. If he makes the mistake to go up to 140, he will get beat. He can't beat seasoned guys like Peterson, Garcia, and Matthyyse. He can't beat Khan either. He needs to wait for those guys to move up or get worn out before he moves up. It will be 2 years before he is ready for those type of challenges.I think it's always a good idea for a fighter to compete at the lowest weight they can comfortably fight at. Old time fighters knew this and usually did not fight in weight classes they did not belong in. If Broner can stay at 135 and perform at his best I think he should stay there. It's better to be a very good lightweight than a pretty good jr. welterweight or an average welterweight. Of course he has already decided to go to 147 so it seems unlikely he would return to 135 if he beats Paulie.
I heard he was knocked out recently in sparring. If that's true maybe his chin is not that good and that would hold him back alot. 140 and 147 both have some quick handed punchers and if he is going to get respect from the fans he has to fight some of them sooner or later. Broner's hand speed, timing, accuracy, and punching power all look very good. If his chin holds up he could be one of the best fighters around for years to come.

I'd like to see Broner get with Pedro DIaz, leave GBP, and act as a true "free agent" where he fights the best TR and GBP fighters. He has so many opportunities from 140-154.
Would Pacquiao have been more effective with Mayweather senior?
its not about being fine-its about realizing your potential and possibly becoming the best fighter in the world. Adding to what Mike has given him can't hurt IMO.
U can't just add parts that don't fit. It will fail. He needs to find his path and develop that. So far, Stafford has made him into a fine fighter. Can he improve in some areas? Sure. But expecting him to suddenly become this slick, dancing boxer isn't realistic. That isn't his style.
Depends. If they continue to find pillow fisted immobile guys, he could possibly go undefeated, after all he's already gotten a gift. But if he chooses to fight the best fighters in the world, he's taking a couple L's along the way. But if Floyd is his idol, then he'll believe a loss is career ending, which it really isn't.
That's just not the kind of fighter he is. Mike Stafford is perfect for him. Hes come a long way under his tutelage as long as he keeps his head in the game, he will be fine

I like what Diaz has done lately. I think he can teach Broner some skills he lacks-footwork for instance-that would only enhance what he already has.
Broner has so many opportunites for good fights that he needs to be as well rounded as possble to deal with the wide range of fighters from 140-154.

yeah. I think a boxer puncher who is equal in size would beat him. He's been hit a lot more then Floyd got hit at that age.All this praise for his shoulder roll lol his defense is leaky. He shouldn't even be on the P4P lists. I think he's a better version of berto. But as everyone here has stated they will keep him undefeated for a while to make money. So he will go as far as the matchmaking will let him.

Why the hell would he get with Pedro Diaz?

He'll be just fine. Its more like ppl praying for him to fail. He's already proved he's world class. He just has go keep improving and keep challenging himself
Well, how about reversing the Reese vs Broner fight? How about taking on Reese's viewpoint, like being the smaller guy against a big skilled fighter? It will never happen. Not with Haymon and Schaefer on his side.
