Marquez: Should he get AT LEAST 50/50 for a 5th Pacquaio fight?

I think the point is that the people here seem to have spoken. If manny were still the draw and had reason to get more, then I would say so... even though I myself don't like him. Being biased is one thing... being a ridiculous worshipper of another human being is completely another.

In terms of seats, when Manny is matched with Marquez, the majority are pro Marquez. Yea you right about seats ...there way more Mexicans then Filipinos anywhere in America but PPV sales PAC has a much bigger # and that what really matter PPV sales

the poll is only right when youre using emotions instead of common sense and basic math... Dude, look at your sig, you're biased... you cannot make a real clear case for JMM getting at least 50/50. Either deal with it, or manny can find someone else. Why hasn't he ever fought Bradley again? He could get the bigger purse in that fight. I personally feel that Bradley outboxes him if they fight again. manny is done and people need to accept that and encourage his retirement.

No. Marquez is still nowhere near the draw Pacquiao is. If Marquez fights anybody else, I agree. Buster Douglas got a 75/25 split with Holyfield. If HBO take 50% for both PPV it becomes irrelevant to any discussion because the percentage is the same. Almost every title fight is 72/25, that counts as "usually". buster douglas was just coming off his ko win over mike tyson while hollfield was just making cruiserweight money.. you said "usually but the only examples you have are from a long time ago and pretty self explanatory why they got the bigger cut...

it's not relevnat when comparing ppvs numbers ONLY but thats not what we are doing here , we are trying to justify whether or not not jmm deserves 50/50 split...you cant use the ppv total , you can only use the the money being splitted between the 2.... thats just one fight (you said ususally)and holyfield was a very good draw himself...not to mention the difference was not so much bigger... It would be nice if boxing worked that way but it doesn't. Pacquiao is a much, much bigger draw than JMM. If Marquez goes and does 500k plus with Bradley then he'll have a negotiating position. for real .. people who are saying jmm should get 50/50 are using their hearts and not their brains....

If Marquez is asking for 50-50 then that is extremely reasonable. He beat the guy almost 4x and almost killed him in 6 rounds in their last fight. They are lucky Marquez is not asking for what he really deserves which is 55-45 or 60-40. Marquez no longer needs Pacquiao, he outboxed him a couple fights and knocked him out in a war. In 2004-2008 they showed they were pretty evenly matched, but in 2011-2012 Marquez showed he's the man of the two. Marquez has Bradley and Alvarado would would be really good fights, especially Alvarado. Pacquiao is being lined up to fight a pack of losers probably.

Pac-JMM 4 was 1.1 mil, Pac-JMM 3 was 1.4.
