TYSON FURY believes he is months away from becoming a world champion.
Britain’s top heavyweight, 24, makes his United States debut against American Steve Cunningham at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.
Fury, who has won all 20 of his pro fights, feels ready to beat the best.
He is in line to meet the winner of next month’s WBC title bout between US pair Chris Arreola and Bermane Stiverne.

Have i mentioned Haye in this thread? I didn't mention him in the other Fury thread i commented on either, you have brought Haye up in both instances. You completely ignore the topic being discussed to fly off on a rant about me and Haye. I'm glad i left such an impression, unfortunately i don't remember anything about you that separates you from the other brainless drones on here.
Fury is garbage his speed, power and chin are no better than average. He got dropped by a feather fisted unknown a few fights ago and was pushed onto the back foot by a feather fisted, low work rate, counter puncher in his last fight. As for cherry picking, when is Fury going to fight someone that actually has decent power?
If Fury beats Steve and Arreola wins and they fight, I say Arreola wins easy. Well that is a in shape version wins easy.
Jesus, why do you comment so much in HW threads? All you do is dick-ride David Haye who, compared with Fury, is VASTLY OVERRATED.
At least Fury is looking to make competitive, progressive fights. Your lover, in contrast, is a cherry-picker. Fury will be a mandatory by the end of 2013; Haye will be complaining about how the Klitsckos are 'ducking' him. :)

I agree, apart from his size there's nothing impressive about him and the way he fights.

Wasn't his promoter on about him fighting Pulev??
Think theres a sly duck there
They have mentioned every big name HW and tried to make a fight with none.
And for as big as Fury is his power is also vastly overrated.
Yes it's no better than average at best. When he was getting walked down by Kevin Johnson i felt embarrassed for him, such a huge guy getting pushed on to the back foot by a feather fisted counter puncher.
I recently watched a few of Fury's fights, and I have come to the conclusion that he is vastly overrated.

If Arreola wins, Vitali will retire.
If Stiverne wins, Vitali will fight him, because a Don King fighter will never unify with Wladimir.
Maybe Vitali will fight on regardless, he hasn't stated any clear retirement plans?
Arreola Stiverne is a final eliminator, unless anyone can source any new comments from the WBC,winner would have faced Fury for vacant belt had Vitali decided to retire,he said on bbc Ukraine he fights on in he last few weeks.
I hope Fury or Cunningham winner faces the Areola winner though,I've little desire to Arreola get a one sided beat down from Vitali again,I'd favor a Fury vs Vitali though, that would be awesome, when Vitali has knocked him out,it'll silence a few dumb asses that would have you believe Vitali ducked taller opposition, regarding Valuev.
Fury would also have a better chance vs Vitali (rather than vs Wladimir) at this stage.
Arreola-Stiverne was supposed to be a title elimination. Why would the winner fight Fury? Unless Klitschko refused to fight the winner and retired.
I was thinking the same. And Fury was talking about fighting Pulev, not Arreola, for a final IBF eliminator as well. Isn't Vitali supposed to fight the winner of Arreola-Stiverne as a mandatory defense?

I thought it was only a semi-final eliminator? Not a final one. I may be mistaken though.
So the IBF said that Pulev would lose his status if he took another fight after Adamek dropped out because he had to now fight the winner of Fury/Cunningham. Now Fury is saying he's going the WBC route. Thanks for fuking over Kubrat once again IBF, worthless fuks. Name Pulev mandatory and be done with it.
This. Absolutely ridiculous.
Pulev should of been the IBF mandatory when Adamek pulled out, just like how Thomspon became the mandatory when Chambers pulled out of their eliminator. Same situation and if I'm not mistaken same sanctioning body.
