1. Floyd
2. Marquez
3. Andre Ward
4. Sergio M
5. Tim Bradley
6. Bernard Hopkins
7. Wlad K
8. Rigondeaux
9. Dawson
10. Broner
Right there: D Garcia, M Garcia, Matthysse, Mares, Gamboa, Pacquiao, Trout, Alvarez, John, Moreno, Quillen, V Klitschko
One loss doesnt kick you out of top ten especially if you were top 5 . now answer me this how does Broner deserve to be in the top ten? Mares win over Moreno is 5 times greater than Broner win over demarcoYour 5 favorite fighters in your sig disqualifies you from posting your top 10 pfp so don't even post it because nobody will care.
No, Nonito does not belong in the top 10 after that performance. Donaire is a big win away from being back in the top 10 though.

I can ride with that.
Food for thought: Did Hopkins lose to Calzaghe? Has Hopkins truly been beat? Yeah Dawson got the win, but he was pfp ranked in my book as Hopkins was. Hopkins was not that far outside the top 10. When I thought about the 10 best fighters of the moment, Hop came to mind.
I know what your saying he's never been outclassed and I do really rate him , I just think he's slipped a bit from what he was .
Abner Mares is a guy I flip flop on because he should have a DQ loss on his resume. I rank him at times, and then I don't...don't know why. Second, Mares resume is as tough as anyones in this game. If anyone belongs some where in the top 10, it's Mares. But I can't get that Agbeko fight out of my mind at times.

Mayweather and Ward for me are at the same high elite level picking between is based not on their skill level but on the smaller things like activity and/or age (mayweather at 36 might be on the decline). If Mayweather shows he can beat Guerrero soundly and in style then i doubt there is a welter who can beat him, not just yet anyway.
I love Hopkins mate but we will agree to disagree cause I think he hasn't quite got it to beat elite level fighters good champions yes but not the top dogsI can ride with that.

Very legit list. I'm still on the fence about Froch being in there, maybe he just gets in at 10. Mine would be more or less the same.
1) Ward
2) Mayweather (too inactive, could go back to 1st depending on his show against Guerrero)
3) Martinez
4) Wlad (if the HW division had a higher pedigree and he was still top then he would be in the top 3)
5) Marquez
6) Rigo (only beaten one top guy, needs to fight others to cememt a higher place)
7) Pacquiao (still got the attributes)
8) Donaire (who else beats him at super banta, apart from rigo?)
9) Bradley
10) Guerrero (beatable but he finds a way to get the win)
best list yet
if you dont recognize ward as the best your a hater
hes #1
No, Pac is not more deserving than Hopkins. Hopkins beat a young, undefeated champion, and imo was not outclassed by Dawson. Pac was ktfo cold.

People put way too much stock into a single loss!
It's not a single loss he's drawn to pascall and it's quite the opposite 1 win don't put you in the top 10 he's unbelievable for his age but he ain't better than canelo , mares , trout , Garcia to name a few
based on quality of recent foe and performance
I will post top 3 only
Ward, martinez and then rigo
I am sure fan boys can put pac and floyd in but those two have not defeated any top p4p fighter in a long long time, they also cherry pick and refused to fight each otherDisregard this thought folks. It's fake.
I will base my pound for pound list on who I think can beat a greater variety of fights.
1) Ward.
2) Mayweather.
3) Rigondeaux.
4) Wlad
5) Martinez.
6) Marquez.
7) Froch.
8) Donaire.
9) Pacquiao.
10) Bradley.
Placing Floyd beneath Ward because I feel the former no longer has what it takes to beat an opponent that has range and height over him ( e.g. Trout). Marquez isn't ranked so highly because despite his impressive win over Pacquiao I don't see him being as effective against fighters who fight him at a distance or not engage. Wlad is fourth, I think he is criminally underrated, his style might be boring but he hits hard and has a very good jab, pound for pound I think his style would present problems for any top fighter.
Good list with thinking behind it !
He did , he won 117-111 on two cards the judge that gave a draw obviously is a fan of spoiling tactics . But back to the point Hopkins isn't top 10 p4p just because he beat Cloud . PAC despite recent form is far more deserving that Hopkins as are may othersNo, Pac is not more deserving than Hopkins.
