Not sure which trainer he's settled on, can anyone say?
So what's the consensus, can he make a comeback, avenge his losses (under a specific trainer perhaps)? I like this fight for Berto, I think he can put in some good work and get an Ortiz/Guerrero rematch.
I'm so ****ing tired of this ass clown. Go away! U r a limited brawler. Talent but no brains. I blame your team though. U feasted far too long on bums and thought that type of effort would get you to the elite level. But, instead you got beat bad by real basic fighters.
Yeah it's possible. I think it's gonna be a tough fight in spots, but ultimately I see Berto winning a decision. This might also be a 10 round affair. I suppose I just like what Berto's saying, none of that pretty sh*t, back to the basics. No more trying to be something he's not. Berto didn't live up the hype a lot of people, for one reason or another, gave him. I wasn't one of this guys lol, but I do think he has the tools to beat karass, if he just goes out there and sticks to the fundamentals like he says he will.
If I might use triangle theories however...I didn't finish the fight (I think I got bored and never got back to it) but it looked like karass was having an easier time with aydin than Guerrero was, so...not being serious of course, Guerrero is the better fighter. I don't expect this to be as tough an affair for Berto.
Berto is just pretty good and I don't think he will improve because he has not shown improvement in years. He has fast hands and good power. He has an average chin and poor stamina and just average defense. He will beat lots of fighters but he will lose when he goes against the top 4 or 5 guys.
lol, why is this guy still c0cky?
sotto karrass got the skills of blind dog and he still might beat berto ...if he can get close to berto without getting hurt coming in , he's got a big chance...
he's under haymon, LOL
Full blown WW's?
It was the first WW appearance for Ortiz and only the second for Guerrero.
He had always been ENORMOUS for a JWW. He was a true WW and he even weighed in around 160 against Berto. It was Vic's first foray into WW, I'll give you that, but in no way was he the "smaller man".
Weighing at the division limit does not mean they were full blown welterweights, no more than Josesito Lopez was a full blow JMW when he fought Canelo.
Josesito went up 2 divisions, he jumped up from JWW to fight Vic then jumped up again to JMW to fight Canelo, how is that remotely close to what Vic and Robert did?
Regardless, think that if you'd like. I thought that Guerrerro and Ortiz were at their natural weights against Berto.
Can we stop with this LW and JWW nonsense? They were both full blown welterweights when Berto fought them.

He's fighting Soto-Karass???? Oh wow.
He must be feeling like a ****ing idiot now; he screwed DiBella over right after Lou lined him up a shot at K9. He could be champ now and aiming for a fight with Ortiz or Canelo or Cotto.
****in' Berto.
I'm sure he does but at least instead of going for the easy money he took on the top fighters of his division. Still though, his career sure has hit some biiiig bumps lately.
Hard talk for a guy who his ass beat by a LW and a JWW. :lol1: Soto-Karass beats your ass.
